“Good location, good value”

The hotel's location at Jokai ter offers good starting point for city visit. Restaurants accross the street, Caledonian pub a few steps further on the same street.
Airconditioning was working, but the single bed was moving and noisy when turning during the sleep.
Breakfast buffet and breakfast room as a such - points for improvement

We traveled to Budapest for a work conference held on site at the hotel and were delighted with the service we received. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the food was delicious. It was close to the train station, restaurants and shopping, and the hop-on hop-off bus was right across the road. I would recommend this hotel to there's visiting Budapest.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the square at the front of the hotel.

After 5 years we wisited with my husband Budapest again.Because of the great central location we decided to stay this time as well in Medosz Hotel. It was fantastic! During these few years they made a big renovation, out-and inside as well, and we felt like we were in a totally other place. The lobby, the reception, the restaurant and the rooms all got a modern look.
It was a great experiment to stay at this hotel again, and I can just recommend it to everyone!

We have spend in Budapest a beautiful week in Hotel Medosz in june. The hotel located just in the heart of the city, the main shopping area and popular attractions, (pubs,Ruin bars, Opera,Andrassy str.etc.) are just a few houndred meters from the hotel. The infrastucture is also great, we can get the szecheny spa within 10 minutes by underground.
Our room was tidy and new we had no problem with the services so we got what we expect for our money.

This is a very good 3star hotel. It is a excellent location and easy walk to many of the popular sites in Budapest. The room was very nice with big terrace (beautiful view of the city). Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good. We had a pleasant stay. I recommend this hotel for everyone.

We liked evertything about this hotel. We stayed on the 10th floor with a private terrace looking towards the Danube, and Buda. It cost only 237 euro for three nights, end of june 2013. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was in perfect condition. We arranged with the horel for a taxi-transfer from airport to hotel for 7400 florijn. On the way to the airport it's 6400 (the difference is because the taxi has to wait and park when picking you up at the airport.) the hotel location is perfect- right in the middle of the quieter, more chique area of town. It's a nice walk along the Andrassy Ut, passed the opera house, in to town. The restaurants across the street at Liszt Ferenc Tér are amazing, and very affordable.
The only bad thing about the hotel was the weak coffee at breakfast........or in other words.....nothing bad worth mentioning.

This hotel is fairly well located just off Andrassy which is one of the main streets and only about a 2km walk over to the Chain bridge and castle area. It is a flat easy walk until you reach the castle area and then there is a funicular to the top for those who don't feel so inclined to walk up. The room we had in the B Building was of a good size, comfortable beds, ensuite and our room had a small fridge and safe although all rooms don't have a fridge or safe as our friends did not have these facilities in their room. All rooms are air conditioned which is a must here in the summer heat. The advertised price at reception is about 60 euros for a double/twin but different web sites obviously offer different and better rates. Breakfast was very good and the hotel seems very clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and stay here again myself.
