We chose the Kempinski hotel for our first trip to Budapest ever.
It was also the first time we travelled abroad with our dog, which is why we were particularly picky about the location and surroundings.

Having chosen Kempiski certainly was a good decision.

The hotel has a perfect location. One side of the hotel is surrounded by Park, the other one leads to WALKING/SHOPPING zone which is a nice square full of great restaurants and friendly atmosphere.

The hotel itself is nicely decorated. It is simple, but perfectly fine. The rooms are very small, however so is the majority of standard rooms everywhere in Europe.

The SPA is also nice-it is on the top floor together with a tiny pool and a relaxation zone and sauna which is just what one needs after a long day walking in the city.

We only had a breakfast in the hotel as we wanted to spend more time eating out. The breakfast was great with everything your hungry stomach may desire in the morning.

The staff was friendly, yet since the hotel is more business oriented I missed a little more of a personal approach (that is understandable though, as we only stayed 3 nights).

The only thing I was not happy with were constantly broken elevators. as long as I remember tehre were 4 main elevators out of which the majorite was never functioning as we lived in one of the upper floors and were travelling with a grandma it caused some troubles.

However when coming back I think we will again go for Kempinski Corvínus as the overall impression was really great.

Dear valued Guest,

Thank you very much for sharing your feedback. We very much appreciate your kind acknowledgement of our rooms, location, Kempinski The Spa and breakfast quality.
We apologize for the waiting time endured during your stay, please be rest assured this was due to the effort on our side to improve our elevator services.
We are delighted to read that you will visit us again and please be ready for further culinary adventures at Gastronomic Quarter Downtown Budapest and rely on our Clefs d'Or member concierge team to explore the city further.

With warmest regards,

Can't fault much at all really. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, the hotel is spotless, the foyer and lounge are stunning. Ate in the EZ Bistro and had the greatest desert, (Floasting Island!) Great value, and the location is about as good as it gets, right near the main square and Vaci street and 5 minute walk from the Danube and chain bridge. A kettle in the room would have been nice as the cost of the tea in the room service is not cheap! Breakfast is quality too, lots of choice and good quality.

Dear valued Guest,

thank you very much for your time and review shared on Tripadvisor. Your words of appreciation on our staff and the "greatest dessert" you had at ÉS Bisztró are very well received. As you kindly pointed, our location is an ideal starting point to discover the city and attractions, even by walking.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming you back soon and remain
with very best regards,

Stayed at the Kempinski for 3 nights with my boyfriend recently. Great location (really central for all the tourist attractions) and I loved the hotel and our room- the shower was excellent and the bed was very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was outstanding and I think possibly the highlight of my boyfriend's holiday.... All the staff we dealt with at the hotel were friendly and attentive. Kudos to the cleaners too- our room was serviced in the morning, again in the afternoon and the room turned down in the evening. To an excellent standard I might add.

We ate in Es Bisztro one night- the desserts we had were great and we thoroughly recommend them!! If I was being really picky, there wasn't a kettle in the room, which I found a bit disappointing as I quite like a cup of tea while having a chill out.

We had a brilliant stay and I will certainly be staying at the Kempinski next time I am in Budapest!

we stayed two nights - celebrating our wedding anniversary and my birthday - and enjoyed every minute. Great staff, great breakfasts and we enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant (not the NOBU as we are not so keen on Japanese food) but needless to say - everything was perfect. Location was perfect too as we did all the normal touristy things within walking distance. Lovely !!

Room Tip: we were on 9th floor - looking down on pedestrianized shopping street -very nice - quiet

We had 2 junior suites. The suites were well equipped, clean and wide.
The overall service was great, in receptions, the Bar and hotel restaurant.
Excellent location. Located in the heart of Budapest with walking distance from restaurants, Coffee shops, stores and more.
It seems that the hotel designer looked into small details as much as for the overall design.
Well recommended! We will defiantly come back.
