The hotel has great location - just in the centre of the district with numerous pubs and bars. You have just a walk to many bars, to the metro stations (yellow and red line), interesting places (e.g. opera house).
The staff is very friendly. The hotel has a round the clock reception. However, the rooms are not very pretty. The are rather ugly, but very clean. The towels were replaced every day. In the room there was soap and 2in1 gel.
The cleaning started before 8 o'clock and it was very noisy. There was no hairdrier in the room. In the room there was a minibar (high prices), a minifridge, cups and glasses, a safety box, a phone and a TV. There was no tea, however,
They have a huge problem with wi-fi. It was repaired twice during our 3-day stay. Still, it worked only downstairs at the reception.

Dear kaskaa5,

thank you for your positive remarks regarding cleanliness. Most rooms are equipped with a hairdryer. If you happened to be accommodated in a room with no hairdryer our receptionist will be pleased to provide you with one upon request. Our hotel offers a wide selection of services, however, free tea and coffee supply is not an available service. We are sorry about the internet problem you had during your stay, this was due to a failure of our internet service company.

Best regards,

Agnes Ivady

The value is exactly the price you pay. I looked for a clean and cheap place to sleep close to everything by foot. We were two family couples planning to be around most of the day, using the less transportation possible and good receptionists guides. Very old hotel but good enough for my needs. The only problems we faced was having to get to third floor after a long walking day with no elevator (one day in repair) and also, wi-fi only at lobby. We took the rooms facing the street with balcony. the double glassing of the window and door balcony was very helpfull from the drunk people at night crossing the street. Breakfast was poor but exactly what I usually eat at home. Rooms cleaned every day once a day (good enough) and if I needed exra towels they've been sent in 5 mins. Air conditioned-no extra pay. There are few sizes of rooms, no problem to change if not satisfied (we did it, from a very small one faced the inside) Two blocks walking there is a supermarket. Food is not expensive in restaurants, beer very cheap, buy water put in fridge at room. People recomend places with specialty in certain kind of food and I think the only specialty is the price because the taste was almost the same everywhere and even better not in an exclusive restaurants but at a local restaurants where you get the real taste of original food.

Room Tip: Choose rooms facing the street, double glass in windows is good enough against noises from street. R...

Stayed here for a girls weekend back in December 2011. Rooms are spacious and clean. Very helpful and friendly reception staff. Breakfast was quite good too. Excellent location for sight seeing. Would definitely go back!

Situated in the very center of the city. 15 min from Danube river, 10 min from metro station or the bus. Tickets you will but in the metro ticket office. If you are by the car – there are several parkings near the hotel: modern automatic or regular with friendly men looking after the cars. The staff in the hotel is also very friendly and polite. Hotel is not very modern, located in tenement house. Rooms are clean and air conditioned. Breakfast is ok served in the restaurant. And this restaurant is something which I recommend!!! It doesn’t belong to the hotel but there are doors leading from the hotel directly to this restaurant. Food is really good, with reasonable price and the staff is very friendly and take care of you. If you stay in King’s you absolutely must visit at least one of the ruin pubs located near the hotel. You will not be bored…

Room Tip: far from the elevator , not with street view as it can be noisy

We are stayed for 3 nights.

Positive:
The rooms are clean, staff are very helpful and kindly, location of hotel is ok, the city center is near, about 15-20 minutes walk, metro station is about 5 minute walk.

Negative: furniture is old, luggage room is very small and they just push are luggage somewhere.. internet is only in hotel lobby. Hotel area(environment) is not danger but we didn't felt safe, the streets are tiny and dirty..

We are booking this hotel very cheep and for that money it is ok, do not expect too much.
