Stayed there for 2 nights mid April. Rooms are a good size. The location, just opposite the Parliament buildings and on the river under the Budapest Castle etc, was perfect for us. Just a 10 minute walk to the Pest side and 5 minutes to the hopper bus and funicular to go to the Castle.
Staff very helpful and cheerful. Our back room had limited views, but riverside rooms would be amazing. Thoroughly recommend More
Stayed during feb for 3 nights. Lovely hotel, great location and had a balcony with the view of the parliament buildings. Bed was very comfy and rooms nice and quiet. Good location for everything but would recommend the hop on hop off bus and get off at Citadel as some attractions are spread out. All in all, a great hotel and would stay again. Booked to stay in the art'otel in Berlin in May!

The art'otel is located along the Danube on the Buda side a short walk north from Chain Bridge. The rooms are spacious, light and comfortable. Those along the river have beautiful views of the central part of Pest from Margit Island south to the Gellert Hill. The upper floors (4-7) are quiet, but the lower ones might have some noise from the tram line along the embankment. The trams stop running around 11 pm and so there should be little noise disturbance for most of the night. There are fewer rooms on the backside, but they also have pleasant views over courtyards and rooftops to Castle Hill. The breakfast buffet is fairly standard but generous and in good weather one can have breakfast in an attractive courtyard. The restaurant that looks out toward the river is comfortable. The food is good, and the service, at least during my stay, was impeccable. This is not quite a five star hotel. Luggage handling is largely do it yourself and the entire atmosphere is informal, but it is comfortable, well located and reasonably priced. My room, which was on the sixth floor looking over the Danube, was 119 euros, breakfast included. There is a good desk in the room for working and there is no additional charge for internet service.

This hotel is excellent! I love the location, it is next to the Margit island ( you can run to the Margit Island in 10 minutes), it is right under the Buda castle and close to river Danube in the area full of nice restaurants.
I was lucky to stay in a large room with a stunning views of the Buda castle. It is greatly lit and you can see it from the bed. The room was very comfortable and so was the bed. I like the art display in the hotel.
The breakfast area is nice, you can sit in a lovely atrium with lots of daylight. The staff are very helpful, they organised the taxi to the airport for me on the day of my departure.
I will be definitely back!

The location. The view. The service. The food. The room... All excellent. We stayed here with our 2 children for 4 days and we only have good things to say about this hotel. It was one of the highlights of our 63 day European trip. Being able to park our car on the street was a bonus and we never had a problem finding a parking space.
If you are visiting Budapest, this is the place to stay. Don't even consider any other.
Make sure to visit the Carne di Hall restaurant (few steps from the Hotel) while you are there. You will be happy that you did.
