“Shame that they now charge,”
Reviewed 11 March 2012

I have always booked a permit in advance when taking groups of students around. There are many similarities with the UK Parliament so it is interesting to visit. This year an entrance fee was introduced so the students were reluctant to pay. A beautiful building from the outside anyway.

“Impressive”
Reviewed 11 March 2012

The parliament is an impressive building, big and tall. If you go to the other side of the Danube, you can get a great look at it from the other side.

“Another great sight”
Reviewed 11 March 2012

We travelled to many of our tour sites on a Sunday when they were closed. However, the outsides of the buildings are fabulous

“Magnificent!”
Reviewed 11 March 2012

I don't know if there is a link between the outfit of the public buildings and the GDP of a country, it's really a reverse relation. This building is so big, so nice and so much oversized!
You have to come and visit while in Budapest!

“It's a fortress”
Reviewed 9 March 2012

Set high on a small hill, the parliament used to be a fortress in olden days. I saw it during december when it was decorated for Christmas and New Year. Apparantely i only saw the parliament from the chain bridge but had lots of time to admire it and click some shots due to the traffic on the bridge.
