Visited here to go up to the lookout at the top of the Basilics which is worth doing but only for the able bodied. Although there is a small lift you have to queue for, there are still quite a few steps to negotiate to get to the exit to the top.

Stunning outside and in, must see in Budapest. We visited the lookout at the top for 1000/800ft (student) which was worth it, great view over the city from what is the joint tallest building in Budapest (96m)

Would recommend to fill a spare hour... amazing architecture, chance to see king Stephens mummified hand (1000 years old!)... donation only to enter. Chance to go up to a viewing point if you wish. Beautiful building to observe day and night.. surrounded by cafes and restaurants to enjoy the view from!

Didn’t go inside, but it was part of our sighseeing of the city and it’s a beautiful building, very well located within the city centre. Worth seeing if you like that architectural style.

You will need transportation to get there. The area is beautiful and like all old churches the craftsmanship is amazing.
There is a cost to enter the church. You also need to cover your shoulders to enter the church but they do provide a over large paper towel to cover your shoulders.
The line up to purchase ticket could be long in high tourist season.
