Lovely location, well maintained property, spacious room, courteous and attentive staff and very good value. Only gripe was lack of tea/coffee facility in room, though available in lounge area. Definitely recommend for business or pleasure, will be back.

I took my family of four here for four nights in December, 2013. We are fairly well travelled and typically are not on a very tight budget with respect to the hotels. Our room overlooked the Chain Bridge, which was quite special. The staff were very helpful, especially the Concierge staff which provided some great guidance with respect to restaurants, attractions, etc. The location of the hotel is fantastic! The room was quite spacious, which was a bit of a surprise based on our experience in Europe. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast and had room service. The meals were excellent, but the pricing was high. Not complaining because we knew what we were getting into (this is the Four Seasons). But we enjoyed getting out for meals, which were a much better value. The lobby was very nicely decorated for Christmas. The little things that we enjoyed were the doormen stocking us with water, nice treats at turndown, the helpfulness of the staff, the facilities in general, and the location. We highly recommend this hotel if it is within your budget range.

Room Tip: we enjoyed having a room that overlooked the Chain Bridge and the Danube River.

The rooms were big enough and I personally liked them. Good room fresheners were used and the staff was friendly. They do not discriminate guests based on the rooms they select for staying. It is located at the end of the Chain bridge, which is famous. It is also voted the top 25 best hotels in the world and got a Traveler’s choice award for 2013. I felt it had historical elegance with modern amenities. They arranged a candle light dinner for me and my wife on request. I will not forget the courtesy they extended during our honeymoon stay in Four Seasons Hotel. The hotel has 179 rooms with 19 suites inclusive. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is by far the best hotel in Budapest! The location is perfect, in a historic building, on the banks of the Danube! The shopping area is very close to the hotel. The rooms are nice, big. The staff is amazing, always there to help you! The breakfast was amazing!

The hotel is magnificent with a terrific location.
The staff is combining kindness and professionalism and was always taking good attention to our comfort.
We were staying with my 5 years old boy and my 7 months boy and when we forgot the teddy bear of my older, the hotel send it back to us in less than 3 days. They saved our life ;)

Once again an amazing hotel of the Four Seasons chain ! The Gresham Palace was scrupulously restored and is again a glorious sample if the architecture of the early 20th century. Our room, very pleasant ( with allways a special mention for the extraordinary comfort of the bed ) has a spectacular view on the bridge and across the river. The location is perfect, near St. Stephen Basilica and the main shopping area. The service is fine and the staff helpful. The breakfast is excellent with recommandation for the local plain yogurth ! I my sense a little expensive if compared to the others hotels of the chain.

Amazing is putting it lightly! Simply put, one of the best Four Seasons Hotel's on earth. For starters, the building, housed in the Gresham Palace built in 1904 and completed in 1906 has some of the most amazing architecture in Budapest, the lobby is stunning. The location is perfect, steps to St. Stephen Basilica, overlooking the Chain Bridge and the Danube. The service could not have been better. We received fantastic recommendations from the Concierge, the staff at the front desk and the wait staff in the lounge, ALL were great. The pictures I have posted do not do this majestic hotel justice.

Room Tip: The suites on the Mezzanine level are spacious, overlooking the park. Even though they are on a lowe...

I would like to thank you for your passionate words in relation to our beautifully restored Palace. The transformation of this building into a Four Seasons Hotel was a tremendous task and the result is truly amazing, indeed.

It is most thoughtful of you to mention our hotel’s advantageous location and to highlight how impressed you were with our employees and their recommendations. Such praise as yours keeps us energized and passionate about what we do and how we do it. I am sure all of them, especially the ones you particularly highlighted, such as our Concierge, Front Desk as well as our Restaurant Servers, will enjoy reading your compliments.

I hope that we will have an opportunity of welcoming you back to Four Seasons Gresham Palace very soon.

Best regards,
