Great views over city and amazing perspective on post war Hungary. Worth the climb! Cafe and toilets there. But unnerving to see the centre of some Nazi activity, but it happened so felt important to consider what CAN be!
Loved the photo opps and massive statuary.

From Szabadság Bridge (near the Central Market of Budapest) you have to walk up hill because no trams go up from this side. You have to leave the tram at Szent Gellert tér and then walk. The view is lovely and even before you reach the top there are several spots that worth stoping at. We decided to go back through the other side but it took a lot of time. First you have to take bus #27 that is the only that goes down. Then you have to change to bus#8 until it stops at Pest side.

Its a great walk when the weathers nice, the views are amazing and there's lots of good photo ops. Is especially beautiful when you get to the top! Definitely worth the hike, but wear good shoes.

It was a hot and sunny day and the view of the Danube with Pest on one side and Buda on the other was magnificent - great photo opportunities. The Lady on the top of the Hill statue is enormous and appears very small from the city. We travelled to the Citadel by Hop on/Hop off bus, which is a great way to see the city and sites, and good value for money. The tickets last for 48 hours and includes two boat trips.

This is one of the highest points in Budapest. You get a great view of the city from here .You also get a good view of the Danube from the citadel.

A great place for an extraordinary souvenir photo of the city.
