*Overall we were very IMPRESSED.
*Loved the free Toy for the Toddler, and
*Loved the free Laundry access.
*Staff we AMAZING with the Toddler.
*Easy access both to the City and Shops.
*Would highly recommend to anyone.
*Only real bummer was Net access, The higher your floor number was, the worse the connection became.

Stayed one night in this modern business hotel. Location is bit away from the main sights in Budapest and there's a busy road next to the hotel (didnt sleep very well because of busy traffic and single glazing windows). At least there was a good shopping mall short walk away. Rooms were well equipped, although toiled and shower were separated in a strange way. Breakfast was satisfactory. When leaving from the hotel, all elevators stopped working and had to use emergency stairs. All in all, not that high-level business hotel, but the price was correspondingly reasonable.

A very modern looking hotel, but next to a small park and with outdoor terraces and plenty of sitting areas inside. We were on a coach tour as others obviosly were, but it didn't feel too much like the rat race at mealtimes. Didn't use all the amenities but there were obviously plenty of them. Our room was quite comfortable and traffic noise didn't affect us. The air conditioning was just right. The carpet didn't look as though it has been swept for a week or two.

Rooms are small. The Airconditioning was not switched on and as a result, the rooms were very warm at night - Had to open the windows and sleep. Good Breakfast spread - replenished quickly. Staff not too interactive at all. Free Wifi throughout the hotel. average Location - Buda Area. Bus Stop on the opposite side will get you into the Pest area in 10 min.

We only stayed here for 3 nights which was disappointing both because Budapest had far more too offer and so did this hotel. Firstly the room was large with a good large bed, nice modern bathroom and a unique work table. There was plenty of space and it was exceptionally clean. The hotel's exterior looked a little like an office building, but the interior was modern and friendly with big comfy seats, a kids area, a nice pool and spa area - including a very adequately equipped gym and sauna, a good bar and restaurant and what looked to be a very impressive conference floor, I also believe there was a bowling alley too. The only negatives that could be said of this hotel are it's location, as it's on the more residential side of Budapest rather than the exciting pest side and it has average transport links to the city in the form of a couple of public buses. However if you don't mind taking a bus too and from the city each day, this is an great hotel to stay at.

Of the three hotels we stayed in on our Leger tour to Prague, Vienna and Budapest this was far and away the best. The hotel has a very boring exterior which belies a very funky and futuristic interior, with bright lighting, lots of glass and bang up-to-date contemporary and vibrant decor.

The facilities on offer here are superb and surprising, and it adjoins the congress centre. Aside from an excellent (if compact) warm indoor swimming pool and flashy changing rooms, there is a full size ten pen bowling alley. Very flash indeed.

The location isn't too bad for getting into Budapest and not as far out as we thought. The bus stops across the road (under the flyover bridge) from the hotel and reaches the centre of Pest in around 10 minutes (you can buy tickets at reception; they'll tell you which number bus as I can't remember. Over 65's go free). I suspect the very fit could walk up to the old town of Buda and the Palace but we didn't really have the time in our short stay here.

Bedrooms are very spacious and immaculately clean, bright and inviting. Tea and Coffee making facilities* are provided (*creamer, not milk). The loo is separate from the shower room, both being accessed by sliding Chinese-style screen doors, with the latter sporting a double sized cubicle behind a glass screen. Again, very flashy. Obligatory flatscreen TV with loads of channels. Soft comfy beds.

Breakfast and dinner are served buffet style for tour groups. The restaurant seems like a 5 mile walk from reception in this enormous hotel. Meals were good, replenished regularly, and coffee was available at no extra cost.

Reception staff vary: some very friendly and helpful, others clueless. E.g. At 11pm we asked can we book a bowling lane? "No, the alley is closed I think, you will have to check downstairs" was the reply - a large sign in reception informs it is open till midnight and that lanes can be booked at reception. Also, we asked would the buses still be running into the centre whilst the horse festival was on, an annual event which sees Andrassy Street and several others closed to all traffic. "What festival?" was the reply.

Expect chaotic queues at mealtimes and at the lifts, not just when checking in/out, but whenever there is a new group in and this hotel takes LOTS of them. Far far too many. What really spoiled an otherwise excellent stay was the ridiculous amount of time spent trying to get a lift. The hotel is several storeys high, takes tens of tour groups and only has 3 lifts. THREE lifts, one of which was out of order and another that soon got that way. This was particularly stressful on the morning we had to leave, as we genuinely feared being trapped with our luggage on the 7th floor. This is a major issue which the hotel needs to address urgently.
