It is not the most beautiful baths in Budapest, but I believe it is the most fun. More extraordinary architecture, and a real Budapest feel.

We had a great time at the baths. The hot water was better than expected. One downside was that it was very confusing to figure out where to go at first - no signs in English once inside

A large selection of baths with various temperatures and conditions being indoor and outdoor. The facilities were all in good condition and they were very good value as most were inclusive in the price. Having strenuously walked around the city for a few days it was the perfect way to relax and recover. The outside rapids pool was a plus.

Enter on the yellow side of the building for the baths (opposite side of main entrance). 3400 HUF for entrance with locker. You only need a swim cap for the lap pool. They give you a waterproof watch that is actually your locker key and ticket, Tap it onto the turnstiles to get in. After you put your things in the locker, click the lock down with your watch. You can tap your watch on the wall devices if you forget your locker number and they will display the number (so don't lose your watch). The outside area has warm, hot and lap pools and a restaurant. The warm pool has vertical jets and a whirlpool (like a water merry-go-round) that turn on and off every few minutes. Don't miss the whirlpool. It's a lot of fun. The inside has many pools of varying degrees and a sauna. to unlock your locker, push the lock with your watch. to exit, drop your watch inside the turnstile. Go early while it's still not crowded.

We went in the morning to the baths. Thankfully, as even on a weekday, by the time we left at noon it was getting very crowded. The staff was helpful and got us to our changing room, which I would recommend for couples. We struggled a little trying to find our way into the actual pool/bath area as there are no signs in english.

Once inside we tried a couple of the indoor pools, but it does smell a little like sulfur. Outside was much more enjoyable. 3 very large pools and no smell.

A great way to experience a Hungarian bath. A must do for any tourist.
