“A very pleasant stay”
Reviewed 5 July 2014

We were very pleased with our one-bedroom apartment (Number 7 on the first floor), which we booked for a three-night stay in Budapest.

Highlights:

There were two bathrooms, which was very handy. One bathroom contained a toilet and small sink. The other bathroom had a deep bath with a shower over the top, a sink with a vanity unit with cupboards in which to store toiletries, etc. This bathroom also contained the laundry - cleverly hidden behind folding doors.

The lounge / dining area was a perfect size for the two of us. There were satellite tv stations available, but only about six English channels. However, we were out most of the time and barely watched tv, except for the news, so this didn't bother me at all.

We were initially worried that because the apartment was on the first floor facing the road, it would be noisy, but it wasn't.

The staff were polite and helpful.

Other comments:

The WiFi was extra, but not expensive at 5 Euros per day.

The room was supplied with minimal tea, coffee, and sugar e.g. two Nescafe sachets, two sugar sachets, two tea bags and two powered creamer sachets.

The location wasn't the greatest, as it is not really close to the main tourist attractions because the area is more residential than tourist. However, it is only a five-minute walk to the beautiful Danube or the large West End shopping mall.

The breakfast is adequate. There were the usual choices e.g. cereals, yoghurt, bread, pastries, eggs, bacon, cold meats, juice, tea and coffee. The coffee is supplied courtesy of an automatic coffee machine.

Please note: the complex does not have a restaurant. The rating of 3 I gave the restaurant is for breakfast.

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experiences at Adina Budapest.

We are sorry that you found the location a bit far from the city center. We believe that using the underground or bus line that stops just round the corner our guests can get to the downtown quickly.

As all studios and all apartments have cooking facilities the hotel does not have a restaurant on the premises. However our colleagues at the Reception are happy to help guests with information on the restaurants nearby or to book a table in advance. We also offer room service from a local restaurant which might be a convenient way to have dinner at the hotel.

We do hope we can welcome you back to one of the Adina Apartment Hotels in Europe or in Australia.

Kind regards,
Andrea Szabó

It is a lovely well appointed comfortable apartment. We had booked a studio, with kitchenette with hobtop, microwave, dishwasher etc but were upgraded to a one BR apartment. Everything was in excellent order.
We had a car, and the garage was excellent. There is a good gym and indoor pool as well.
The hotel is in a residential area, but we walked to to catch the Hop on Hop off bus at the station.
The staff were very helpful, and friendly wih enough English to communicate well.

The staff at the Adina could not do enough to make my stay great! The rooms are lovely, lots of space by any standard. The pool, hot tub, sauna a wonderful. There is a lovely outdoor patio area. If my travels take me near an Adina hotel I will choose to stay there.

Brilliant hotel on the outskirts of the city centre (only two metro stops). Had fun at the Christmas market, eating local food and feeling in the festive mood. Would recommend without doubt.

The rooms are huge and for the price amazing.

Having stayed here for 3 months while working in Lovely Budapest, I have to recommend the Adina apartment hotel. My apartment was well equipped and no more then 5 minutes from the center of town, a great base to see the beautiful city ... it comes with the use of a swimming pool, sauna, steam room and Gym.
The staff are polite and helpful, the rooms are always cleaned to a high standard.Good value accomadation.

Room Tip: Best rooms would be the one,s with a balcony so as to be able to sit out side and they have a slight...

The apartment was big, comfortable, with everything you need, in the kitchen, bathrooms .
The stuff were very helpful.
The location is great! We used only taxi because we had a baby stroller, and steel it wasn't expensive.
The only "problem" was the internet that was disconnected ocasionly. After we told the stuff they put a rauter and it helped
We recommend this hotel for the price and what you get for it
