this hotel is close to everything in downtown Budapest. The staff was lovely, the rooms comfortable and the neighborhood quiet and nice.. The breakfast was outstanding and of a great variety. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel last April/May, and found it to be perfectly located if you wanted to shop on Vaci Street, as well as being close to the Great Covered market of Budapest.
Our room was clean, we had AC, and WiFi was free, but you had to go to the lobby. The staff was very helpful with getting taxi, car rental company info. and all sorts of other info on restaurants, shopping, tours etc. Several of the staff spoke English very well. *We actually stayed here when we arrived in Hungary as well as just before we left to return home.

The hotel is situated at the edge of Pest city center, which makes everything at walking distance.

The hotel has a slightly outdated interior, but is clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful but not too friendly (which looks more like a characteristic of the Hungarians than of the specific persons).

The bathroom is rather spartan, and given the fact that I was accompanying a wheelchair-bound person, rather a challenge. But, if you plan to spend as little time in your hotel as possible, and prefer clean over luxurious, this is definitely a good option.

This is a lovely hotel in a very central location for the metro, buses, etc. Very helpful friendly staff and wonderful breakfasts. The Hungarian restaurant Karpatia, just 100 yards from the hotel, is well worth a visit especially when they have a Hungarian group playing authentic Hungarian music - wonderful ambience.

Hotel is very well positioned for walking around the city. It is only 5 minutes from Vaci Street, which in the main tourist street. No more than 10 minutes from the Liberty Bridge and the Central Market in one direction and 15 minutes to the Chain Bridge which once crossed gives access to Buda and the castle area. The Parliament building is about a 20 minute walk away.
The hotel room was spotlessly clean with fresh towels each day. The room was warm even though the heating was off and we had to keep the window open. However although the hotel is situated on a pedestrian area it was quite noisy until gone midnight.
The only problem we had though was with breakfast. We had paid for bed and breakfast as confirmed on our booking from - however on the first day we were refused it as the hotel said we did not have it included. Upon showing them our confirmation form, they apologised and said it would be sorted. The following day we were refused again!! This time although the receptionist grudgingly let us have it after we complained, when we returned we were told again that breakfast hadnot been paid for, even though it was on their confirmation from Jet2. We then had to telephone our travel agents back in England to get them to get Jet2 to ring the hotel. Eventually we got breakfasts but no apology.
That aside the hotel's breakfast was sufficient - the rooms clean and bright - with plenty of hot water in a lovely powerful shower. We would stay there again.

Room Tip: perhaps ask for a room at the back

The hotel is right in the city centre and I stayed one night. The double room was a bit on the small side, but very clean. We didn't try the breakfast as there are some many places nearby. It was not very expensive and so is excellent value.
