“Great hotel in a great location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 July 2013 via mobile

I have been there with my boyfriend for three nights in July. The hotel is really great: the location in perfect for visiting the city and you can easily and shortly reach every part of the city centre by foot. It is on the Danube, near Vaci Utca and really close to the metro station of Line 3 (the one that takes you to the bus 200E, the one that goes to the airport). Some really nice restaurants and shops are in the neighborhood. Our room was new, big and full of light, the bathroom had a really big shower and a lot of bath products. It was really clean too, like the other spaces of the hotel. We also tried the room service: it was really fast and the food was excellent. At the end of our holiday the recepsionist gave us a card that guarantees a discount in all the Zenit hotels.
I would totally recommend this hotel I will go back there for sure next time I visit Budapest.

Dear guest,

I realy appreciate your nice words.

I am very happy to know that you enjoyed your stay.

For the next time, you must know that we can help you arriving from the airport. We can arrange a shuttle service to bring you to our hotel, it is quite cheaper than 20 €!!! You can check our website to have more info.

If you decide to come back to the city, it will be a pleasure to welcome you again.

Best regards.

We enjoyed our stay and were especially impressed with how polite and helpful the reception staff were. The hotel is in an excellent location for visiting both Buda and Pest, right next to the river and close to two bridges.

We stayed for 5 nights. The room was clean, large enough. It's centrally located and still very quiet. There was absolutely no noise from outside. We could hear the TV from the next room though. They also have very friendly personnel.

We stayed at the zenit hotel in budapest from June 21-24. The hotel was in an excellent location close to major attractions and public transit. This hotel provided the best service and we would go back in a heartbeat. From taking responsibility for a mixup in transfer cost to providing detailed and thorough information on budapest attractions and booking attractions. The most impressive being mailing my daughter's doll that she forgot at the hotel back to Canada free of charge! We will definitely stay again at this hotel and would recommend for others as well. We had a family room for our family of 4 that was an excellent price. The room was actually 2 rooms with 2 bathrooms. Loved this hotel and staff!

We were in Budapest for a long week. I chose this hotel by its location (a couple trams stops from the National Academy of Sciences) and its reviews. We were very pleased. Eight nights stay was about $800. The room was quiet, airy and well cooled (always important in summery Budapest, though we had milder weather than usual). Minibar fridge in the room which we used for our own purchases (small food mart just a couple doors down has cold drinks and such).

This room had a tub/shower combination which was good for us. The tub was missing its stopper but I always travel with a plastic one so I got in a couple of muscle soaking baths after long days of walking. The tub could use some non-slip strips; you had to be careful getting in and out. Good cleaning service each day and a choice of a different type of pillow if you needed it (which I did.)

Very close to the Danube, Vaci Utca and only two trams stops from the Great Market. Not far from the end of M1 and Deak Ter, so very convenient for transportation.

We did not get the breakfast option or eat at the restaurant though we did have light snacks (excellent) in the little bar. They do not exchange even a little currency there (no problem) but would make change for the larger Hungarian currency you receive from ATMs.

We will certainly look for this hotel for our next stay!

Very clean, nice good sized room!
We paid €70~ so a really great price for an awesome hotel right in the city! Amazing bathroom, they gave you two shampoos, body wash, moisturizer, toothbrushes and tooth paste as well as razors. The air con was quiet and there was absolutely no noise at all from the other rooms.
I suffer terrible from allergies, but for the first time in a long time had the best clean dust free sleep! I read in a lot of reviews that some of the beds are too short in budapest, but my 6'4" boyfriend had no problems in this bed. This would be the hotel we go back to every time for sure!

Room Tip: Bring some conditioner cause that was the only thing not supplied

Hotel within walking distance of many attractions. Most time we walked was 20 minutes to the grand market. Close to shopping district and metro line one. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Air conditioning worked great. Front staff was very helpful. We paid for breakfast one day but in hindsight should have gotten it for all our days stay. It was 12 euro but there were other cafes around there charging similar prices once you factored in the cost of your coffee and tip. A very quite place to stay in the city centre of Pest. Would recommend this to all

Room Tip: Our room was facing the inner courtyard so we could sleep with our window opened if we wanted to and...
