The hotel is nice and modern. The showers work great, the breakfast is very good, has a lot of varietly. I booked this hotel via their website though and they said that airport transers were included but this was not the case, also the email confirmation that they sent was only in Spanish. The transfers were not expensive but still this should not be the case. Some of the staff at reception are not helpful, especially Balint. Then again Sara was very helpful. The location as such is ok as it is very close to the main streets, only the view from our hotel room was bad...looked straight into antoher wall.

Lovely hotel situated right in the centre of Budapest around the town. Hotel very reasonably priced. Rooms spacious and very modern. The only downside to the hotel is the ugly looking hotel opposite which obscures the view. The staff are extremely friendly and are more than happy to help you with anything from booking trips and reservations. The breakfasts at the hotel were lovely and has a lot of choice. The location of the hotel ess absolutely perfect. Very close to bars, restaurants and the Danube. Well worth a visit.

Room Tip: Ask for one that doesn't overlook the big hotel opposite becauseit's just a big block of co...

KUDOS
You cannot beat the location for proximity to attractions and tram stop. I recommend this hotel.

Exceptionally clean room with ample storage, excellent lighting and ventilation. I suggest asking for a higher floor if concerned about street noise. (please see quibble below)
One very nice touch I haven't seen in a long time: stationery. Not everyone uses electronic devices.

Elevators: very large with polite doors that don't close on your luggage if slow or last to board.

Breakfast: abundant selection with wall signs (instead of having to hunt for things), along with a kitchen staff to prepare omelets, eggs and smoothies to order.

Staff: very professional and helpful. When my husband's wallet was stolen on the tram, they made one of their computers and phones available to contact card companies and others to replace documents and did what they could to help. The manager treated us to a lovely dinner with wine in the hotel restaurant. They also ensured that our taxi arrived promptly to take us to the airport.

QUIBBLE
Try if possible to get a room on a high floor. The garbage trucks woke us up very early every morning. They acknowledged our booking request, but had nothing higher than the 2d floor when we checked in due to near capacity.

Room Tip: Try if possible to get a room on a high floor to minimize street noise.

The Zenit Hotel is in an excellent location in central Pest. Easy access to all attractions. The hotel staff were very helpful, recommending restaurants and organizing a taxi to get us back to the airport.
The rooms are comfortable and clean, the only thing that we thought was missing was tea and coffee making facilities.
This hotel offers excellent value for money in a great location.

Hotel Zenit was very beautiful and unique- open atrium to check in filled with daylight-very inviting. Room was comfortable, clean and staff were very accommodating. We needed a taxi to train station and they made sure we were dropped at the proper station.]Not the larger station in Budapest] . Breakfast and bar area very pleasant. 2 blocks from river and also from main shopping district. Great location.
