There are about 5 Trofea restaurant in Budapest and I believe they all have small differences.
The concept is the same everywhere: 5,500 HUF ($24) for a dinner Monday to Thursday, $2 more on weekends and about $6 less for lunch. This includes ALL you can eat and drink. The drink selection has wine, beer, soft drinks for free and different wines & hard spirits for additional payment.
The Trofea on Margit Korut, at the exit of the bridge on the Buda side has a live pianist and a grilling station where they cook in front of you a large selection of pork, chicken, turkey and fish. I understand not all of them feature these two pluses.
Now if you wish to eat beef, it is only as a stew, nothing to grill, this is why I didn't put 5 stars. Other buffet meats include duck, beef. pork, chicken, beef cheek, fish but they are drowned in sauce (except the duck).
If you celebrate something it is better to let them know before you arrive but they accommodated our last minute request graciously. The waiters were very nice.
