This is the best experience I've had in many of my travels around the world. Literally. This is not simply a 'B&B' as they position themselves, but a true gem of a family hotel! Top class service, stylish rooms & perfect location. What else do you need for the best travel experience ?

First of all I had very complicated booking situation: original booking through another website (which we have to cancel) in order to add additional night, then adding another person (and eventually giving a better deal for two people), forwarding all invitation letters required to obtain Hungarian visa. No problem at all! Guys come back straight away, were extremely helpful & nice every time.

Secondly, room looked exactly as it is shown on the website. Cleaned properly every day, with snacks & bottled water supplied daily.

Staff of the hotel is exemplary polite & helpful. They offer coffee, cappuccino & tea. They offer you tickets to the baths, for you to avoid the queue (My advice- DO GET them in the hotel ! It's the same price then to buy them at the place. However when baths are packed, like it was on December 31, you will spend the day queuing with NO guarantee of getting in at all!!!).

Thirdly, you know how fussy hotels are about you getting on time for brekkie? If you had a party all night, lovely people will be very understanding & will offer you to come for breakfast at later hour. Aren't they simply great?

I was also warned by the hotel staff not to exchange euros in the airport, as their exchange rate is a rip off, comparing to the official rate.

Tamaz, Zsolt thanks for all your patience & warm welcome in your lovely hotel!

Very pleasant staff, nice breakfasts and room! Extremely service oriented as we could ask for special breakfast, warm drinks, taxis,... which were always accompanied with enjoyable talks and recommendations about restaurant and activities around Buda and Pest. Prices really interesting too!

My husband and I were unexpectedly stranded at the Budapest airport for 24 hours. I checked tripadvisor and found this hotel. We called and reserved a room. Took the bus E200 than the metro from airport to the Kalvin square, very easy walk to Beletage. Extremely friendly, helpful and attentive staff -- gave us good suggestions about how to spend the afternoon (danube tour, Museum House of terror, Trap- was across the street)), recommendations for a casual restaurant for dinner (we had no luggage and were informally addressed), etc. The location of the hotel is perfect -- close to Gellert bath, Grand Market, National museum, shopping, and good restaurants. Our room was looking to the street, very well equipped, clean, nice size, esp by European standards, and extremly quite. They offer much more as a BB usualy does!!!! The decor is fantastic! Really a perfect BB.

Christina was really helpful in Googling for all the info we wanted that she didn't already know. Our room was quiet and spotless. It was also very central - we could walk to many of the places we wanted to including the Danube. A great find for our Golden wedding anniversary.

We stayed here 10/9-10/12/13. The staff was friendly and helpful. Accomodations were fabulous, a great deal of the character of the old building remained. Couldn't ask for a better breakfast, there was even a special cooked to order each morning. In a safe neighborhood, close to transit, stores and cafes just around the corner. Would definetly stay here again and recommend it to anyone who wants to stay on the Pest side and be able to walk to everything.
