This along with Chain bridge and Margaret bridge attracts most tourists in Budapest.
We stayed in a room overlooking the Elisabeth Bridge. It looks especially good at night with the lights on.

The Elisabeth Bridge is another bridge that connects Buda and Pest to form modern day Budapest. It also offers convenient access to Gellért Hill. Nice views of the river from the bridge but, like the Chain Bridge, it can be crowded at times.

Thought the bridge is not as great looking as say the Chain bridge but for us it was particularly useful since it was the closest to where we were staying. We crossed the bridge on foot at least four or five times walking towards the citadel, the Gellert hill and generally taking in the sights of the city. In fact if you walk through this bridge to the opposite side and cross over again from the Chain bridge you cover most of the tourist attractions on both sides!

Looks like an ordinary more modern bridge crossing the river compare to the ones on both north and south. Cross the bridge give you excellent views of up and down the river. looks great at night.

Not the most ornate or even nicest looking of Budapest’s bridges during the day, however at night when it’s all lit up it takes on a completely different persona.
