Owner description: Exit game? Room escape? Puzzle solving game? Team building? Having fun with others? The love of enclosure. And of course the catarsis what you feel when you are already out. This is the transplantion of the well known adventure and point & click games into the reality, where the searching, the puzzle solving and the excitement remains, but the experience becomes touchable and the place is real. You need to find real objects, combine and use them with which across the dozens of logical and ability games you get nearer to the final puzzle which gives you the key to escape. You have one hour in this environment closed from everyday life, where the ancient surviving and problem solving instincts inside of you can revive. You need to work in team, watch every details, every hint in the rooms to accomplish the game. Prepare yourself, we created the puzzles in a way that you need to use your brain capacity on the maximum level, to push your limits and of course to feel all right behind the padlocks.

“Great fun”
Reviewed 27 August 2014

Booked into the Voodoo Room for the last thing of our holiday, luggage in tow before heading to the airport. From the beginning the atmosphere is spot on, not seeing/talking to anyone before you're locked in and the game begins is a great way to start!

We did the game as a couple - escaping with about 10 minutes to go. Apparently it's quite rare for couples to complete it but it definitely required a lot of teamwork and a lot of no-nonsense actions - my advice would be not to overthink things too much and just try EVERYTHING if you're stuck!

The rooms get progressively creepier which was cool, the final room in pitch darkness was a great conclusion. The tension builds as you run out of time but it's all just exciting rather than stressful. We were a bit gutted we'd waited until the end of the trip to visit as we'd defo go and do the other room if possible!

One of the best hours we spent in Budapest by a distance.

“Great fun. Very atmospheric.”
Reviewed 26 August 2014

We tried the first room and were so taken by it we went back to try the second one the next day! Wicklewood is the better of the 2 but they are both fun. They are great value compared to other cities. One thing Claustrophilia get right is there is no introduction, you're straight into the game with no human contact. This really helps the atmosphere. Top notch.

“Fun and games”
Reviewed 25 August 2014

I am a fan of escape rooms and went there with 4 other friends. We got out of the Voodoo Tales room in about half an hour :). The begining of the game is a nice change as it is not like the other ones I visited. The quest was interesting and the decor was very nice. The staff was ok, but I would have wanted a bit more details as we kept track of the time with our own watch and the lady there did not give us anything specific in terms of how we did other than what we asked. Other than that it was quite fun!

“Excellent way to spend an hour!”
Reviewed 24 August 2014

My parents and I visited the Wicklewood Heritage - Claustrophilia. We got stuck for a while in the first room, but the help person was very friendly over the intercom and told us how to get into the second room. It's great fun, nicely decorated, a good bargain, but quite challenging, which we liked. You definitely have to try this if you happen to be in Budapest!
