“1st class Restaurant”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

Great food selection, excellent fresh salad. A good selection of Hungarian wines .Staff very pleasant and spoke English. A nice touch was the complimentary Limoncello at the end of the meal.Out and inside seating on the corner of Vorosmarty ter.A service charge is included on the bill, this seems normal in all of the Budapest Restaurants.

“Amazing place.. but..”
Reviewed 18 February 2014

Great food, great staff, pretty much perfect. However the fact that they take their own tip (I prefer to so so myself..) and that they serve foie gras turns me off quite a lot!

“Lovely ciabatta but too expensive. ”
Reviewed 15 February 2014 via mobile

I really liked this restaurant the food (ciabatta) was really lovely and the illy coffee was beautiful. Turned off by the fact they allowed a couple in with a dog. Not long before the lovely ambience was ruined by the barking of the dog, the staff did nothing to deal with this and for that reason and the price I will not be going back.

“Really good resto or may be a superb pizzería”
Reviewed 9 January 2014

We wanted to go to a pizzería with good feedbacks of Tripadvisor in the close Jewish quarter, but what we met was only a take-away with two tables. So we turned back and went to Il Pastaio, we saw before when we were in the shopping area and the Cristmas market, the same place. The image from outside is the same than later inside: small, clean and modern, without frills. Such, the food, too. Two pizzas, two pasta dishes and a bottle of wine. The waitor was quick and almost perfect, perfect to say because he had to run: the resto was fully booked. When I give him 5 stars, I valuate that the food was really good and not overpriced, and the service was good for the food's price. Even, you can coice if your cozze shall be served with, or without garlic. One Hungarian wine was sold off, because his price-quality relation would have been too good. It was sold of in another resto, too. We had the only table upstairs with a view onto Vörosmarty place.
