Very nice and very elegant. You cannot leave Budapest without having seen this amazing building. One of the most interesting architecture in the whole city.

“What a great Chopin concert”
Reviewed 26 June 2014

Vigado is one of the most beautiful concert rooms where I’ve been. The acoustic is great.
If you like classical music, don’t miss the opportunity to listen to a concert in this room. Hungarian public also contribute for the special ambience because most people listening really appreciate classic music.

“Hall of delights”
Reviewed 7 April 2014

We got lucky! The superb Vigado had only reopened after refurbishment in March and we were able to attend a concert by the Hilliard Ensemble on our first evening in Budapest. It's a magnificent palace for music. It has no rake so it's a bit like a giant Wigmore Hall. The surrounding rooms, the main staircase and the hall are wonderfully ornate. On entry the facade has recently had a good scrub and is truly an ornament on the Danube waterfront.

It is closed since... may be 10-15 years?
So, we can see just from outside. The building is renovating, yet. It will be beautiful, but when?
