Lovely huge rooms, very friendly staff, good breakfast and beautiful spa. They have a cute courtyard, perfect place for relaxing after a long day. Short walking to the city center, and near to a main tram line. We will come back!

We have just stayed 5 nights at this very nice and quit hotel with a good location i central Pest. Stayed in what I think they call a Superior Suite which is a 2 room apartment and a balcony. Great choice as it is not only a hotel room, but also a place to stay. The staff was very nice and helpful and when complaining about pour WiFi in the room it only took a second to set up a router in the room. Drop breakfast at the hotel and either go to the small cafes en the area or shop at the Supermarket round the corner as the apartment offer full kitchen facilities. Only negative thing we can come up with was the poor list capacity. To much waiting time and quite complicated to get around to the other rooms (we were several couples) on other locations in the hotel. But all in all gray value for money.

We visited the Queens's Court as the first part of our journey through eastern Europe. The hotel's rooms were comfortable and restful. The attention to detail of the staff was awesome. They gave us many tips on places to visit in Budapest and we enjoyed all the luxury of the restful rooms after a day of walking and enjoying the sights. This is the best place to stay in Budapest. The location, the rooms and the service were outstanding.

This hotel has some lovely features; the rooms are large, the spa area is small but beautiful and the hotel is very well decorated. However not only did too many things not work properly, but of greater concern was the lack of customer care shown by the non existent, General Manager.

As a previous reviewer said, the hotel was very hot and most guests were forced to sleep with the windows open, yet when we opened the windows the noise from the main road and the trams kept us awake. This was unfortunate but understandable as it was unusually warm for the time of year.

However, the way in which we were treated when we politely informed reception was very disconcerting. The receptionist informed us on three separate occasions that the general manager would 'be back in the afternoon or he'd be here in 5 minutes' as such we twice changed our plans and came back to the hotel to meet him. However, not only did he not appear when we were told he would but he did not appear at all throughout our week long stay. When we eventually spoke to him on a member of staffs mobile phone, he refused to give our booking company Expedia his number and would not authorise anyone at the hotel to speak to them on his behalf. This left a very likable but powerless duty manager to try and ease the situation and in fairness he did his best offering us the use of a fan and an alternative room.

During our stay we also saw a lifeguard who spent all day on his laptop be very rude to a female guest, one bed in definite need of replacement and other guests as well as us provided with inadequate or broken kitchen equipment.

All in all I can see why people would love this place, we thought we would too, we were gutted as it looked so lovely in the photo's. We will definitely return to Budapest, it is a truly wonderful city and although this hotel is by no means awful, there are better places to stay.

Good location in the centre, easy to walk to the Danube or to Andrassy Street. Plenty of cafes restaurants nearby. Excellent pool area and rooms spacious with the kitchenette a pleasant surprise. Helpful reception, great breakfast, all in all a lovely hotel at a bargain price. Would definitely return if in Hungary again. Only one little issue we were 3 in a room and they forgot to give extra towels, pillows cups etc but soon remedied with a call to housekeeping. Lift rather small and slow so not good for the claustrophobic.

Room Tip: room on the front fine but the triple glazing was needed as could be noisy when windows were open

Second time time Budapest, first staying at Corinthia hotel (definite 5*) but this time on less of a budget. First let me list the pros.
Suite was clean with separate bedroom, sitting room/kitchen and bathroom and toilet
Staff professional and helpful
Great to have a pool
Chess restaurant - food delicious ( didn't try breakfast)
Great location with easy access to trams and metro

Not so goods

Very very hot even at end of October so had to sleep with windows open so very noisy
No balcony but would have been too noisy to sit outside anyway
No kettle for tea so had to use big saucepan to boil water
Towels not changed in 4 days
Toiletries not replenished
Suite overlooked street so noisy all night and into morning- drunks, cars, dustbin collection, road cleaners, sirens etc etc
Only BBC news on TV - didn't really matter but nice to come home and watch a bit of tele
Shower head leaked all over the place and plug not fitting snugly so had to bath with foot on plug
Someone's dinner left on tray outside our room for well over 24 hours

Would I stay again? Probably not but sad as the place has so much potential

Our first time in Budapest and the experience at this hotel was excellent. The hotel is right of the main street and if you did not know it was there you would miss it. We had a great suite. Bedroom with wall mounted TV, living room and equipped kitchen and another TV. The the bathroom with shower was separate from the toilet. The indoor pool with sauna and spa was delightful. The price was reasonable for what we got. I failed to mention that all rooms have balconies.

Room Tip: All rooms are great, because they face an indoor court. You hear no noise from the street.
