We expected to arrive at a five star hotel. The first surprise was the price of the transportation service. We were told that the fare is 7500 huf.It was 8900 huf.The second surprise was that we had to carry our own luggage to the room. The third surprise was breakfast.Definitely not worth 12 € per person! Quality of the food was good, but the selection very limited.Usually good hotels provide much better variety of different foods. The room was spacious and nice, but smelled like mould.I suspect there was mould in the bathroom, because my nose ran during the whole stay and my eyes became red.Location-wise I have no complaints.Tram stop was near and so on.Positive things were that the staff was friendly, the 'spa' beautiful and bed comfortable.

My rating is based on the fact that at this price range in the same general area there are several good hotels in Budapest. Queen's Court offers nothing that separates it from the pack.

This is a nice boutique hotel in a lovely old building, Certainly not a 5-star hotel. It has a lovely courtyard with a fountain and a few tables where you can eat. The rooms are of decent size and they have and a nice, modern, bathroom and a small kitchenette. They are nicely appointed and maintained. Everything is sparkling clean.

Housekeeping is excellent. Air conditioning works great.

It has a good location within a few minutes walk of Oktagon metro station, as well as shops and nice dining and entertainment areas like Goszdu Udvar. You could even walk to Nyugati train station in about 15 minutes.

In spite of its central location the rooms are very quiet. The pool is nice.

The only real drawback is that wi-fi signal was too weak to be useful in my 3rd floor room. I had to go out to the balcony, or down to the lobby or courtyard in order to have good signal.

Room Tip: Rooms looking into the courtyard are very quiet

This was our fist trip to Budapest and we arrived by train from Salzburg. We caught the metro from the train station and exited at the Octagon which is couple blocks from the hotel. The Queen's Court is a very nice luxury hotel with a lot of amenities and centrally located on the Pest side of the river near many of the popular sights and museums. Our room was a suite with a full kitchen so it was very convenient for cooking breakfast and making coffee in the morning. It also included a small balcony overlooking the courtyard. There are a couple of the SPAR grocery stores nearby the hotel where you can pick up supplies. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The pool and spa area looked very nice but we were too busy sightseeing to use it. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. There are plenty of good restaurants with easy walking distance from the hotel including the "Ruin Pub" area.

Room Tip: I believe all of the rooms are suites so, based on what we saw, they are probably all very nice.

Stayed here for 5 nights with my husband and another couple. While the men went to the Grand Prix, my friend and I explored the city.
The hotel is nice but I would say a 4 star rather than a 5 star. We had suites next to each other on the fourth floor facing the street. Their suite had a balcony but ours did not. The small kitchens had a cooker, microwave, dishwasher but unless you are staying for over a week, I would not think it worth buying dishwasher tablets etc.
There was a washing machine/dryer in the bathrooms.
Parking was underground and cost 20 euros per day but you could come and go as many times as you like. There is a lift that goes directly into the hotel.
The pool area was lovely and my friend and I enjoyed relaxing in it after a long day sightseeing. The pool guy who was on duty the first few days was not very helpful but the second guy was. The rest of the staff were really good too.
When walking to and from the hotel try going different routes - the roads parallel to Dob Utca are worth a look - full of hidden gems!

I spent only one night at Queen's Court but I did enjoy my stay there.
The hotel is in the city centre, just some 10 minute walk away from the river and main streets of Budapest.
Rooms are cosy and clean. Same with the bathroom. I had a little kitchen in the room with a water boiler and some tea and instant coffee. Staff are polite. They speak english and are friendly.
I did not use the spa but it looked gorgeous!
