An ideal hotel, all suites and an ideal position: 5 minutes walk from the Octagon and Andrassi, 10 minutes from Rakoczi Centre and a minute from Elizabeth Street. The staff are friendly and are helpful and can't understand why some of the reviews say otherwise.
We had our elder daughter ( 23) with us and we managed quite comfortably using the lounge as the second bedroom. OK not perfect but enough for 4 nights and a preferable option to taking another hotel with a single and a double room. As we had a flight home at midnight we paid an extra EU 25 and used the room right up till 9pm when we left for the airport. Would definitely stay at the Queen's Court again.

This hotel is very new and luxurious and in a good location for walking to the heart of Budapest.

We stayed in a silver suite and the room was excellent, it was spacious and airy with a balcony overlooking the hotel's courtyard. It was spotless and very modern. The room had a flat screen TV with a goor range of channels, and internet service. There is also free internet in the lobby.

If like us your booking does not include hotel breakfast, you'll get better value in some of the restaurants nearby, but the one in the hotel restaurant is OK if you don't have time for that, and the restaurant is very nice, it's just more pricy at 12€.

The staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. On our last evening I lost my phone in a taxi from the hotel, and on our return to the hotel they did everything they could to get it back for me, calling the taxi company that night and the next day before we left.

Definitely recommended, and we will go back next time.

I visited Budapest frequently for the last 10 years, have seen all the good and bad developments in my favourite city. Usually I take flats in downtown area, this time I decided to give Queen's Court a chance due to it's excellent location in the Jewish destrict and quite good value for a suite (otel.com 63 EUR incl. BF!! booked 2 days before arrival).

Honestly this All-Suites-Hotel is above average for Budapest Hotels/Flats. The decor is dedicated to US-(and other Western) tourist (looks like Marriott Executive Apartments around the corner). And compared to my earlier experience in other flats (for half of the price!) these suites are very cosy and comfortable - definetly worth to recommend.

Breakfast buffet was included in my rate (12 EUR/Person) which is worth, you won't get such a selection with drinks in the bars at closeby Liszt-Ferenc-Ter.

However two things makes not give 5 Points for the Queen's Court:

- as it seems Eastern Europe has same problem like in China: it's difficult to find well educted personell with language skills (10 years ago it was different, maybe these guys are now all hotel managers?)
- maintanance and cleaning is "eastern-Europe" way of doing things: bathroom floor starts to mould, loose hooks on the wall, Sauna totally overheated as control system broke, no towels in Pool, breakfast buffet missing refill, long leadtime for coffee, etc.

This hotel is good example for a missing international brand (e.g. Starwood, Marriott, Accor) who spends some money in better staff education, cleaning instructions, breakfast rules (guided by international manager) - otherwise excellent place to stay in Budapest (esp. at the otel.com rate)

Free Wifi (Modem in your room to be requested), Free Pool/Sauna

The superior room of this hotel fulfills the highest standards of the Finnish hotel customer. Wooden floor, no carpet, clean. Excellent and peaceful location, few hundred meters from metro. Good service and friendly hospitality. Go for it.

Stayed at the Queen's Court for a week, in a standard suite. Very comfortable bedroom with king size bed, living room with fully-equipped kitchenette and with dining table, bathroom had a washer/drier. Spotlessly clean. Decor rather dull and dated, although the hotel was built within the last three years. Plasma TVs in living room and bedroom, fairly limited channels. Broadband internet free. There is also a fitness centre and a swimming pool (quite small) with jacuzzi. The location in central Pest could not be more convenient for sights and transport. Quiet, being just off the main Erzsebet street. Very good cafes, restaurants, etc all within easy walking distance.
I put a load of washing into the washer/drier, but the drier did not work. A housekeeper and mechanic immediately came when I told reception, the clothes were taken away, dried and ironed(!) within an hour.
Reception staff very friendly and helpful.
The buffet breakfast is not included in the room charge, and I have to say the selection is rather dull and limited. You would probably do better at a neighbouring cafe.
All in all, this is a very good place to stay, and very good value for money.
