It was the 3rd time we've came to Budapest but it was the first time we've staied in this Villa . From all the places we've staied in this pension is the best.
The pension is very clean , if you stay for more nights , they clean the room every day and the bad is changed every few days .
The breakfast is very good and well balanced , has a good variety of food so everyone can find something to eat .
The pension has wirelles internet wich works excellent.
You can park your car safely in the parkinglot .
And the host Mr. Robert knows how to take care of his guests , he knows what to recommend to see , to eat , how to get arround , he is super friendly and helpfull .
Definitely if we are to arrive in Budapest again , this is the place we are going to come back to .
I recommend this pension to everyone who likes a nice , quiet place.

Villa Korall is a great place to stay in Budapest: rooms are big, clean and comfortable (mine had a private bathroom and a terrace with a view to the internal garden, which was really nice), breakfast is great (especially the eggs made to order) and the manager Robert will do anything to make your stay pleasant, with many tips about things to do in the city.
When staying there, though, you have to be aware that the hotel is a bit far from the city centre _about 20 minutes by bus to the centre of Buda. The bus stop is just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel, so I didn't think it was a problem, but if you want to stay in city centre, this is not the place for you.
I'd definitely stay at Villa Korall again.

This was a fantastic B&B to stay at. It was a little way from the city centre but easily reachable by public transport from the airport. Our room was very clean, quiet and tidy and our en suite was ideal. The room also came with a/c if you wanted it. We had a lovely shared balcony overlooking the back garden and other houses down to the centre of Budapest. Each morning we were offered a variety of continental breakfast stuffs, as well as gigantic plates of fried or scrambled eggs with various additions if we so desired. The best aspect by far, however, was our exceptionally friendly and helpful host, Robert, who spoke excellent English. He knew everything about anything to do with Budapest and how to best get around the city and its highlights. He offered a plethora of leaflets and maps and we found our overall stay wonderfully stress-free. The price was excellent value and the city was beautiful. I would highly recommend a visit.

Hello,

We were in Hungary, Budapest for the first time in our life (after being in other countries like: France, Italy, Greece, Bulgary, Austria, Switzerland...)
I want to say that this was the most wonderful experience ever met in our holidays.
Even if for some people the location can be a little bit unpleasant (near the M1, M7 highways, and not in the center of the city). there are a lot of green corners, many flowers and a really sweet. And there is a bus in the front of the villa which will take you to the center of the city (the citadel) in 15-20 minutes.
Regarding Villa Korall itself, the rooms are cheap and extremely clean, big, with balcony and a view to the beautiful garden.
The included breakfast is delicious and offers a big variety of food.
Now... the biggest surprise was our host, Robert, who has been very very helpful, he helped us with information, hints, maps, details, directions.
Everything we saw and experienced was very nice and we are proud that we have not left misled by the idea of accommodation in the center of the city.
We met a wonderful place and an extraordinary man.

We wish you all at least the same experiences in Budapest!

Great hotel! It's a bit outside of the city, but the buses come every 10 minutes, and it's really not at all difficult to get to. It's basically a house that's been turned into a hotel. The man who owns/runs the hotel, Robert, was extremely helpful giving us directions and suggestions. Breakfast is free, and it's amazing! There are pastries, cold cuts and cheese, cereal, and even scrambled eggs and bacon or ham cooked fresh to order. The room was large and comfortable. It even had a balcony and a large bathroom! One of the best hotels I've been to, and at a great price!!!

We stayed for one night on our way to Austria. The breakfast is very good, the people very nice and helpful. I'd say that the price is the best for everything that they offer.

Pension Korall is one of the best B&B i've stayed in Europe! The room is spacious and clean, exactly like the photos on the website. There is a Tv, mini fridge in the room and wifi connection. Peter is very friendly and helpful. We exchanged money with him, he gave us better rate. He also sells metro tickets which is really convenient for us! The breakfast is soooo good! I am not sure how many people were staying there during our stay, because the portion of the breakfast is huge! there are so many to choose from!! And you can order eggs/ham or whatever you like, just point to the lovely old lady who prepares the breakfast! Seriously one can't ask for more! BUT... we went to Budpapest around the end of December. It's so cold and we get tired really easily, the loaction of Pension Korall is just too far for us. First you have to take bus 139 to get to a metro station (10-15 minutes)
then take metro to the main sites. We were so tired (probably from the 16 hrs flight to Budpaest or from the walkings in the snow) that we even fall asleep on the bus! And we also missed our 5:30 am trian to Prague. Because the earlierst bus departs at 4:40 and we thought we can get to the train station no problem, but that morning traffic was pretty bad due to the weather. And we had to change to Metro again!! so yeah we missed the train.
Anyways!! i highly recommend Pension Korall! i'm sure the 10-15 mins bus ride in the summer/spring would be lovely!
(Just take Zona taxi to the Pension around 5000HUF, it's much eaiser than taking metro/bus)
