The location was perfect, you could walk to most places. The apartment was spotless and Gabriella could not have been more helpful. She arranged transfer for us to and from the airport and gave us advice on what to see.
Budapest is beautiful city and I could not recommend this apartment enough, it was perfect.
Gabriella picked us up from the train station and arranged for us to be taken to the airport on our departure. Gabriella is a very friendly and bubbly person and was very helpful with any question we had. Brilliant location in a great old building. Thank you Gabriella
Stayed at N N Apartman from 23/07/17 to 25/07/17 before joining a River Cruise from Budapest. Can I say from the moment we made contact with Gabriella throughout our stay and until our departure it was just amazing how she dealt with everything including arranging our pick up from Budapest airport. The Apartments themselves were first class, spotlessly clean and tidy. The air-con was a blessing. The location couldn't have been better in central Budapest and within easy walking distance to all the major attractions. Can I say a special word of mention to Judit who assisted us so much during our stay, she really was so helpful. To finish I have no hesitation in recommending N N Apartman to anyone staying in Budapest. Thank you Gabriella and Thank you Judit for a wonderful stay in Budapest.
Beautiful apartment, stayed for 5 nights with hubby and kids (aged 7 and 10). Fabulous building beautifully restored. Impeccably clean both the apartment itself and the communal areas. Central courtyard/garden is a treat for the eyes and you can breath in the history, just stunning.
2 good sized double bedrooms, 1 ensuite, 1 with a safe and both with ample storage. Good sized kitchen (equipped with everything you'll need including coffee machine and microwave and a thoughtful stock of essentials) a dining table and separate living room with satellite TV. Both bedrooms also have flat screen TVs but we didn't have time to use them.
The apartment is in a wonderful location right at the heart of cafe culture. There's a covenience store opposite for all your needs and 2 great cafes just next door for breakfast/lunch. Wonderfully though you'd never know you are in the hub ub of city living as the apartment is blissfully quiet with its thick stone walls and double glazing.
Just a short walk is liberty Sq with play parks and water fountains (google Iberostar Grand Hotel to see the fountains just outside - our kids played there for hours while we supped cocktails, holiday bliss!). We walked to loads of the hot spots a family favourite being Margaret Island, the children would happily have stayed there all holiday! So many good restaurants on the doorstep we couldn't get round them all in 5 nights but we will be back for round two! (a must is pomo d'oro but advise booking it's deservedly popular). You couldn't help but enjoy yourself at this wonderful place and I've saved the best 'til last! Our host was fabulous, Gabriella was attentive and on hand for any query/request - I'm sure amazing English is only one of her many talents, always happy to help and extremely welcoming throughout our stay. Goes without saying we will be back!
Highly recommend this apartment, great location, and very well equipped. Budapest is a beautiful city we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and didnt want to leave as 5 days wasnt long enough to see everything. Hope to return one day.
This is an excellent choice of apartment for a city stay in Budapest. It's within walking distance to St Stephens Cathedral, the Szechenyi bridge, and the Hungarian Parliament, all the while surrounded by trendy cafes and restaurants. The apartment is spacious (with loads of storage space), extremely clean and well stocked (with a very decent sized shower). There's a small lift in the building as well which makes it's third floor situation very accessible. Gabby the owner is delightful, full of information and extremely helpful. Public transport options were within a block of the apartment, and as the information mentions there is a supermarket directly across the road. We would definitely stay here again if we ever get the chance to come back to Budapest. As a tasty tip if you've never tried a "kürtőskalács or chimney cake" take the opportunity while in Budapest. We bought ours at the Market and ate them strolling along the promenade by the Danube at twilight. Delicious!
