We dined at Cafe Callas for an early dinner before a performance at the Opera - it's right next door. It has an elegant early 1900-ish style. Beautiful old style interior, attentive service, traditional (and limited) Hungarian meal choices. My meal good, nothing exceptional about it. Café Callas was more expensive compared to other restaurants that we went to in Budapest but all in all it was a very good experience (though we probably wouldn’t go back there, given the other dining options in town).
