We came to Heviz because of the thermal lake.
Location and the lake itself looked very beautifull.
But the disappointment came after we were informed by the owner of our villa, that the lake is radioactive and the max stay in the lake is recommended only for 30 MINUTES, max 1 hour per day. No kids under 14 years. No info on the web of the thermal lake about this. that was a bit disappointing. So - be carefull with lake Heviz.

It was such a relaxing day. You do need some kind of ring or floating aid. You can hire one for 600huf + refundable deposit of 1000 huf. Cash only.
Highly recommend this spa. Highlight of our holiday.

We went to visit the lake we paid for 3 hours in the lake it was really nice and hot. A man was going round cleaning it regularly. A nice atmosphere and lots to do :-)

half day of relaxing in this very fantastic thermal lake is good and enough as the stron warm water is exhausting you - additional there is no ground and you have either to swim by yourself all time or have some kind of flating aid.new and clean changing rooms

A perfect mini holiday :) the water was warm and the dressing rooms clean. I wasn't very happy about the smoking area but there was one .
