We came here after alot of travelling in big citys. Alan and Eva are so welcoming and nice! They make the best breakfast we have had in a looong time. Its so nice that you can help out with the farm and the animals. The rooms are very big, and the location is far away, yes. But its quiet and beautiful! We will come back as soon as possible. Cant recommend this place highly enough!!
There is wifi in the mainhouse and you can have lunch and dinner for an additional 3 euros pr. meal. ITS FANTASTIC!

Wonderful warm welcome from hosts Eva & Alan, in a heatwave the hostel was cool and comfortable. Food was excellent and plentiful, most grown on site. A fabulous break away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

For a family from the city it was good to see the countryside and the farm. Our room was quite and clean, the breakfast was okay. Eva and Alan is a great host.

We are on a trip of Eastern Europe, and based on reviews from Hostelbookers, we stayed at Ecohun for two nights. To arrive (without a car), you catch a bus from the station in Pecs for 45 minutes to a little town of Kiskassa. The town literally only has one street. My 5 star location rating is due to it being located indeed, on this main street.

Alan, one of the owners, met us at the gate as did his trusty dog Gus. We were shown to our room... actually we had the whole guest house to ourselves. The beds were comfy, the kitchen has everything you need in it.

There's very little to do in Kiskassa, besides going on walks with the dog... and exploring the fields. We read a lot and just took a break out from our trip. There is a little market in town that's only open from 6-11am.. and then 4:00-5:30pm but is well stocked enough to make some simple dinners.

The farm has goats, pigs, geese, chickens, and dogs. It was a really great stay and the hospitality of Alan and Eva when we arrived (and over email prior to our visit) was very much appreciated. They even arranged for a guy from one village over to take us to Villainy (the wine district). You can go from one cellar to the next (right next door to each other) and taste some excellent wine.

There was no wifi... but internet was available for use.

Breakfast was provided for free, and was very good.
