“Good bistro”
Reviewed 1 August 2013

We enjoyed a nicely prepared and well served meal at this street-side bistro. There are a lot restaurant choices in the pedestrian area in Pecs, but most appeared to be serving meals that looked average. Enoteca, however, is a serious restaurant, serving good meals. Service was pleasant and attentive. We thought Enoteca and Jokai Biszto (as yet not listed on Tripadvior, but just off the main square) as the top choices top choices for travellers in Pecs.

“A good place for eating in Pécs”
Reviewed 7 May 2013

We've been in Pécs this February and visited two times this great restaurants. It's operated by young peoples, who care about traditions of Hungarian kitchen, but know very well the latest international gastronomic trends. The menu is relatively short, but contains very good foods and changed each day, so you can find something new every time. You can also taste large selection of best Hungarian wines...and the best thing: you can watch how they are making your food, because there is a big window between the restaurant and the kitchen. This is an excellent idea.
So, when you are in Pécs, you must try it.

“If the service was prompter”
Reviewed 25 April 2013

in a sunny say we have used the terrace of the Enoteca which is also
called Étkező by now
The food and drinks were outstanding especially for local standards
but the srevice was definitely to slow.
They would perform even better with more service quality
it is a place to be recommended

“Simply good”
Reviewed 19 January 2013

This was not the first time but I still like it.
I have started with a pumpkin soup. This time I ate grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) :-) as main course. Both were really good.
It is great in this restaurant that there is a big window between the tables and the kitchen. If you sit upstairs, there is a television on the wall that shows the kitchen live, therefore you can follow the preparation of your dish if you like. I like this idea, too.
Upstairs one can find the more formal part of the restaurant.
I can recommend the restaurant if you are not a budget traveler. The prices are above the Hungarian average.
You can have a look at them at http://www.enotecapecs.hu/ and https://www.facebook.com/enotecacorso
Enjoy it!:-)
