“Cheating!!!!”
Reviewed 27 July 2012

we are now in this hotel, it is nice so far the food the hotel, but the only thing i can complain this time there is a connection of this hotel which is the pool and the other facilities life sauna's, fitness, beauty wellness and so on but today there is something to do like Hungarian comedy which is more interesting for us because we are the tourist here and when we go we let us pay 1,500 forent for the show and the my son is 3 years old normally when you have a child so its free but we pay just to see the show or comedy show,. it is just 2 mins to go up to that podium and its done!!!!! what a show!!!!!!!! And when we go down to say something what is that, the woman say its till 2am in the midnight and we say its for the show we come not for to swim! And we dont even wear swim suit for the pool!!!! its really lying or fooling the people!!! She can even say to us its only 4 or 5 mins the show is done or you don't need to go in that show just swim! We pay for nothing! they never give us back the money means they are Cheating us as a tourist!!!! and the hotel dont protect us even if they stay in there Hotel for long days!!!!!!!! In case like this they must also protect there guest!!!!!! We don't go there to swim.... we can swim the full day if we like, we like to see the show!!!! So its depressing this kind of attitude that they don't protect us as a tourist in here.......so upset!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Room Tip: no comment what you see be carefull!!!!!!! sure in other facilities that is connected in the Hotel...

The hotel has a great connection to the Thermal Complex, which is great and conveniently located from all sight of the city. Itself yet needs quite a bit of attention on details to take away the feel of a slaughter house.

The guests are a good mix of Czech, Slovakian, Austrian and Hungarian families, so it is great spot with small children as we traveled, you do not feel alone and uncomfortable that your kid would disturb relaxing couples. On another note this family mass tourism experience kicks back with the way things handled and the selection of services ( rooms available but as "your assigned room" not clean yet no flexibility in case you arrive earlier than 3pm to get another one). The room we got was worn out, and the carpet would have needed a major cleaning besides the bathroom did not give the feeling of being clean at all (mold in the corners, not properly cleaned glass wall). The main restaurant opens only for breakfast and dinner only for buffet, always crowded loud and service is slow and courteousness.

If you choose this hotel, make sure you aware that your badge to the water park not able to consume food and beverage and you can only start using the facilities after midday.

Room Tip: Rooms from _22 are facing to the backside of the hotel, which wing is quiet.

Modern design, good cuisine and helpful personal could characterize this Spa hotel located right next to the Spa and aquapark area in Sarvar, western Hungary. You can walk via covered corridor, by foot, to Spa and relax area in any time of the day. Bike rental, bar with great selection of beverages, sweets and snacks, TV screens, rental of games / sports and spa & relax procedures reservation service directly in hotel. Parking available for daily fee just 2 euro, access by car from the local roads, no highway around. GPS navigation is recommended.

Room Tip: Ask for the lower floor – air-conditioning ventilators are situated in the roof and they are quite n...

This is our third time at Park Inn Sarvar. I would not give four stars for the property but I do like staying here with family. Rooms are Park Inn standards, slightly faded. They have good baby equipment and the biggest bonus of this hotel is the direct access to the Sarvar thermal baths.
Staff at the hotel is brilliant, very helpful and well trained.
Negatives; the bathrobes, towels and sheets are simply out of date; hols, stains, they do look sad and clearly need to be changed. Food is the other weak point; breakfast is ok, not great. The hotel restaurant is terrible, you better go and eat at Pizzeria Mediterran, 10 minutes walk from the hotel.
All in all I would recommend this hotel,(mostly for families and older couples) We always have a good time here knowing and accepting all the weaker points.

We booked two connecting rooms for the 3 of us. Our daughter (9) had a great time in her room. She slept by herself on a king size bed, used her own bathroom, watched whatever she wanted on cartoon channels, had her toys, board games everywhere in her own room. I know, you could say it's a silly thing to book a different room but, it was great for all of us. :) Our rooms had balconies and view to a green area, which was great, The rooms on the side oversees the main entrance of the hotel and the entrences of the local spa & the aquapark. So that side is a (bit) louder.

The rooms are large, clean, well maintained. The housekeepers were friendly as well as the rest of the staff. The lobby area of the hotel is just like a club house, what we liked very much! The lobby has a sitting area, where you can sit down, chill, read magazines and so on. Plus there's a lobby bar where you can have snacks, drinks, coctails, you can play cards, pool billiard etc. We sat here every night for a drink, plus played all kind of games. Also there's a game room for kids with stuffed animals, board games and game consoles. So they're prepared for everything.

The restaurant is clean, nicely furnitered. We only spent our breakfast in the hotel so can't tell anything else about. The breakfast was tasty and the selection was wide enough. This is what you expect from a 4* hotel.
We like to go out for dining, so we've had dinner in nice restaurants all around the city. We went out to try different places on every night. You can find good restaurants in Sarvar.

The spa & the aqupark.
The hotel has its own passageway to the spa. As a hotel guest you don't have to pay extra for the spa which is good for kids, parents, grandparents. There's an area only for kids. Slides, pirate boot, sprinkles etc. Outside you can find giant slides, diving bay, wave pool etc.
These areas are crowded, so you can look after your child in every second. Which was great, because we've always played together :)))))
In the area of the spa you can find small eateries, so you don't have to go back to hotel, to grab a sandwich or a bottle of water. The prices are okay, as well as the quality of those pancakes & sandwiches.

After all, I can say that we've had a good time in the Park Inn Sarvar, (& Spa) and probably I can say that, once we'll be back again.

I have stayed here many times over the years and find it one of the best value for money hotels in Sarvar. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and with the added bonus of free wireless wifi.

The restaurant is a combination of buffet and a la cart, and although the food is not to my personal taste, the loungebar also sells bar meals which, if you are a constant traveller like me are more likely to appreciate.

the hotel is a good 3 star standard with polite and efficient staff and an adjoing 'electronic casino'

I'd recommend it as a good value for money, centrally based hotel.

It´s a business hotel, no doubt about that. Nice conference and meeting facilities. The carpets were highly unusual and quite uncomfortable. I think maybe the designer went a little overboard there.

The hotel is connected to a Spa which is very good and that is a great plus for this hotel. I liked the staff which were friendly and cooperative. The rooms are fine but some have great view.
