“reasonable hotel at reasonable price”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

would give this hotel somewhere between average and very good if i could, rooms clean and nice with a walk in shower , breakfast a bit limited would like fresh fruit and hot options. other meals reasonable but not my type of food , too much fried pork. conference room ok but too hot. the price was very cheap so all in all was value for money , i must add that the staff tried hard to cater for my diabetic needs, but i am not surprised that hungary has such a high level of diabetes when the fried pork with sugared salad is a standard meal.

Very small room. No hair dryer. My room was just above the pool, you can hear the noise inside. When you enter, you need to pull up the shades - its always dark inside when you are not staying. No wifi or desk in the room makes it unsuitable to stay and work. The breakfast is poor, not even sufficient and badly positioned - i decided to skip the queueing and the whole meal altogether. Our group was having dinner and lunch in the hotel too - it took us approx. 3 attempts to change the constantly returning schnitzel menu. Serving was slow.

the hotel is average, quite nicely located. we had a direct lake view which was very enjoyable. the air conditioning worked very good providing the right temperature for resiting and hiding from the sun.
But this is not a clean place. the breakfast area (restaurant) was never tided up. the overnumbered staff was very lazy and did not manage to do anything but providing additional food supplies. we decided to get up earlier (during holidays!) to have a chance to have our breakfast at the not-yet-used table. children had problems in putting their legs on the messy floor under tables (yak) .... overall experience of the restaurant area: dirty dirty dirty and lazy lazy lazy staff...
would rather not recommend.

The hotel Manager (I think)? Wasn't trying anything els then to get our money, (they all want cash), I think with a VAT 27% it's normal. Rooms are very small for a feasort, could be ok for a business hotel.
The most apalling was breakfast, a group was leaving befor we arrived ( one hour befor) when we arrived for breakfast, mot one yable was cleaned, the waiters were having their own breakfast, we had to ask the to prepare a table, the buffet was a mess, and there were still four other rooms that arrived after us. we left with a very bad feelling.

We spent four nights in this friendly hotel.
The hotel has direct access to the lake although it is a really small path, they have a garden where we could have sunbath. They provide sun-umbrella and outside chairs too but you can use your own towel if you want.
The room was nice, tidy and clean with airconditioning. The beds were comfortable. Our window was towards the lake and the next hotel but there was enough space. The bathroom was clean though no hairdrier despite of the advert where we booked the hotel. Also there is no internet.
The breakfast was included into the price which was really delicious - three different type of bread, Hungarian sweet breat, three different type of salamis and cheeses, tea, milk and cacao although for the coffee you have to pay extra. You can eat inside and outside as well which is great as it is so nice eat and watch the lake.
The staff doesn't talk good English, their Russian and German is excellent but they do their best and really helpful when you them.
There were 'cosmetic' faults in the bathroom, ex. one of the light cover was missing, or the stairs looked really used in the hotel but overall we had a really good time there.
