A little hard to find but centrally located! Recently renovated and has all amenities! A/C took a little while to work but kept us cool all night. Service by Bernadette was fantastic. She went out of her way to help us. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast included & you can watch cook in kitchen! Bathroom very modern & complete. Highly recommend you go there!

Stayed: May 2014

we went there for a wine tasting evening and obviously stayed there over night. What a perfectly well styled combination of an old renovated building and some most modern room/bathroom furnishings. Good Restaurant with an "open view" kitchen which does not need to hide anything. Can definitely recommend !!

Room Tip: the Junior Suite rooms feature a free standing bath tub - interesting room concept.

We've spent one night in the hotel. The receptionist was super friendly and helpful. Rooms exceeded my expectations, the interior was very tastefully designed (and furnished). I really liked the industrial meets homey design they maintained throughout the hotel (rooms, restaurant, cafe alike). The hotel is in a perfect location, everything is within walking distance. Breakfast was not included in the room price, but the cafe's prices are very reasonable (and the freshly made apple juice is really superb).
The bed was a little too firm for my back.. but that was a great excuse to relax my muscles in the spa (which is so new you feel like it was finished before your arrival).

Room Tip: if you want a room with a street view, make sure you ask for it upon booking.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Tiszavirag - wonderful contemporary design of the rooms and whole hotel, nice and friendly people working there, cool bar and restaurant - we had their Monday night burger, which was delicious!

We spent three days in Szeged. The hotel is great. The inside patio has a window to the kitchen where you can see the chefs working. The ambience of the hotel is cool. The personnel is incredibly helpful. We will stay again here for sure.
The only downside was the bed in our room that was alittle bit to firm.
BTW- The food at the hotel is incredible.
