We attended mass here during our visit to Bratislava. It happened to be a "High Mass" and televised, so somewhere our family is front and center on some Slovak Catholic video.
It's a lovely church and the site of coronations in centuries past.

There is no entrance fee to attend services, although the 2 Euro charge at other times seems reasonable to me. The upkeep of such an important, ancient building must be considerable.

As with most cathedrals, this one is tall and ornate, and worth a look, especially if you're heading to Bratislava Castle anyway.

This is a normal cathedral with nothing special to see inside. It is not worth the €2 per person. Read the history on the internet and get inside the main door. It is enough to see it inside

This is a beautiful old cathedral with a history going back a thousand years. The exterior lends itself to the atmosphere of the city, and abuts the ancient city walls. The interior is gothic elegance adding to the much older bones of the buliding. Bones in the literal sense as well, as a plastic window covers a hole in the floor where much older bones are visible.

A bit tricky to find the entry door, but so much history (at least 11 coronations) in a compact space. The crypt will unnerve you if claustrophobic, but well lit and ventilated. The clear floor panel reveal of the 11th century cemetery under the main floor can startle, but think of it as a memento mori.
