“Great hotel, good location - free minbar and wifi!”
Reviewed 8 June 2012

The hotel is very good with excellent facilities (spa rooms, sun roof terrace, complimentary minibar, free wifi etc.) and friendly and helpful staff. We only ate in the restaurant once (other than at breakfast) but it was also very good. The hotel is on the eastern side of the city centre which is a bit quieter but an easy walk to the main square. The only slight downside was that our room was quite noisy in the mornings - you could hear noise when other guests were using showers/baths and I'm quite a light sleeper so this woke me up. Overall however, this hotel is very good and worth staying here if you're in town.

Unbelievable. Great staff, wonderful restaurant (with an impressive choice of Slovak food and wine), delightful combo bar/library, amazing terrace. They even include minibar and wifi in price of the room, which is so nice, not because of the money, but just because it is such a delight not to be nickle-and-dimed to death and have all that bother. Room appeared to be decorated individually, with so many nice touches. Just an incredible pleasure to stay here. If you are in Bratislava, you must come here and see for yourself, end of story.,

I spent only one night there but I can imagine this hotel as really good place for longer stay in Bratislava also. The room was so cozy with nice personal touch everywhere around. The atmosphere of the hotel makes you feel really relaxing. Hotel's location is only walking distance to the town center - might be around 10-15 minutes maximum.

Location, decor, service, breakfast, free mini-bar - it was all perfect. The only aspect I didn't like was the hard-core porn on TV. The porn channels are free.

My colleagues had the same experience as I. We turned on our TVs, flipped through a couple of channels looking for news, and found ourselves viewing hard-code porn. We later figured out that there was a second remote for satellite and all the news chanels were on satellite. There was general consensus that the easy availability of that level of porn made the hotel feel a little seedy.

Great hotel in the middle of Bratislava. We were on a bike tour and the staff were very accommodating to hold our tandem bicycle in the underground parking lot for free

The hotel is in an ideal location, the breakfast was delicious, it was a well equipped room and ensuite and again, the staff were just lovely.

Highly recommend.

I have stayed there only 1 night and enjoyed it a lot. Hotel is small (member of Small Luxary Hotels of the World), luxary and with perfect service. Rooms are well decorated,a lthough on small side unfortunately. Very well equiped (LCD large TV, HBO channels, etc), DVD, coffee corder, iron, mini bar for free). Beds are rather narrow. Bathroom also small but well decorated (sort of art deco style) and with good quality cosmetics and a good hairdryer. Common areas - very stylish. Breakfast is nice, but a bit disappointing for luxary hotel.Service is good and attentive, although you have to wait for check in and out. They try to maintain the atmosphare of small hotel and arrrahngement with reception is not the best. I ahve waited about 15 minutes for check in.

I stayed at the hotel with my family to celebrate my 40th birthday. The hotel is in an ideal location - in walking distance of the old town and yet in a quiet street. The quality of the hotel's accommodation and the service is very high. I have travelled extensively and two members of my family have worked in some of the best hotels and restaurants across the world so our expectations tend to be high. The food in the hotel's restaurant, both breakfast and dinner, was excellent. We even had dinner in the hotel twice, (which we would not normally do), as we enjoyed the food so much and the service on both evenings (by Boris and colleagues) was exceptional - Boris in particular was clearly very well trained and his professionalism is a credit to both him and the hotel. We were all made to feel very welcome by all the staff we interacted with - they even put a red rose in my room on the day of my birthday which was a lovely surprise. Unlike some luxury hotels, they have managed to retain a friendly and relaxed atmosphere - all the staff we met were very helpful and attentive - nothing was too much trouble and you didn't feel that they were taking every opportunity to get more money out of you as you do in some establishments!
