I stayed in Bratislava just after my wedding, and Carrol's Hotel didn't disappoint. The welcome was one of the best I have had in a hotel, very courteous doorman, who offered us a sparkling whilst checking in.

The hotel is boutique by name and design. The rooms are a little smaller than some I have stayed in but nevertheless are welcoming and big enough for a short stay.

The hotel successfully get's the importance of the 'small touches'. For example, on entering the room the staff member explained exactly where everything was and also what each of the remote control did. There was a free mini-bar too which was a great bonus.

The hotel is not slap bang in the centre of Bratislava but it's only a short stroll from both the river and the central plaza, so this isn't a worry in summer time.

The hotel exceeded expectations, I'd read the reviews but seeing is believing and it shouldn't disappoint. My parent stayed at a similar time and equally enjoyed their visit suggesting continuity in standards.

I wasn't sure about this hotel, hovered over the booking page for a while before reading some reviews and deciding to go for it. I'm very glad that I did.

The room wasn't the biggest i've stayed in but it was decorated warmly and was very cozy. The TV had lots of channels on offer (not that I really had the chance to watch) an the free mini bar was a nice touch. I also loved the freshly baked biscuits on offer in the lobby.

I would have liked to have used the spa but traveling on my own on this occasion it would not have been good value (the spa was not free to guests).

This is very nice hotel also very close to the center. We loved the decorations and interior but I have to say that the staff is the best part. Rooms are spaceful and very clean with a lot of nice details. We will come back.

Marrol's is a true boutique hotel. Small, cozy and very welcoming were the first impressions that I had when I entered for first time. A lot of attention is paid to the small details which are actually very important for a pleasant stay - welcome drink when check-in, mini bar free of charge, personalized services according to guest's needs and wants.

The location is very convenient - approx. walking distance to: old town (city center) 5min, Bus Station 15min, the famous Castle 20min
Rooms were pretty decent in size, well equipped and very clean. Makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. There was also bathtub in the bathroom.
The F&B outlets offer a very good range of meals and beverages. Excellent wine selection and every day different, very appetizing lunch and dinner menu. The breakfast buffet doesn't offer a big range of food, but the one provided is with very good quality.
The hotel also provides conference facilities. The library room can be easily transformed into conference hall for 50-60pax. It is very welcoming and warm and makes the distance between speaker and audience closer.
The staff is friendly and always willing to help you and provide you excellent services.

Room Tip: Rooms on higher floors have better view

We stayed here after reading other great reviews on Tripadvisor and were not disappointed. We were welcomed with a glass of local wine and some biscuits and were seated in the lounge area in front of the open fire while we waited for our turn to register. Rooms were clean and modern if a little small. A free minibar refilled every day was a nice touch.
The hotel is situated just a five minute walk from the old town square where we met our guide for a free walking tour, thoroughly recommended.
The hotel also had a lovely breakfast included and is a non smoking hotel so this was a bonus. Most restaurants we found allowed smoking so you have to search to find one where you dont have to breathe smoke. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Small and charming boutique hotel about 10 minutes walk to old city. Champagne on arrival was a nice touch. Dbl rooms are a bit small but nice. Minibar is included. (4 bottles of water, 3 sodas, 1 beer and 1 small bottle of white wine) Breakfast was very boring, not much to choose from.
