“Tasteless pseudo-Indian meals heated in a microwave”
Reviewed 3 January 2013

Lovers of Indian and/ or any kind of quality food should absolutely avoid this place- save your money.
I haven't visited the place in Kaunas though but they have two outlets in Vilnius and I've been to both. I had a paneer samosa which was way too far from both: samosa and paneer. It was a traditional Lithuanian sweet cottage-cheese pasty. The service was horrible- a waitress in saree was extremely joyless and wouldn't hide it. And she heated this so-called-samosa in a microwave. My friend had veg-kofta which was all soaked in a cheap Lithuanian ketchup. Overall meals are tasteless and spice-less, recipes are primitive and cheap products are used.
When I left a feedback about this on company's Facebook page- the reaction was pretty vague, not showing much interest in my experience. They reply pretty actively to positive feedback though.
I believe this place could be loved only by Krishna-Rama-Vishnu religious fanatics, because they believe this food is enriched in saint-spirit-all-healing-Prana. My beliefs are different though.

“Great food”

It's not typical Indian food restaurant you might expect, but it's vegetarian and always delicious. We love split pea soup with samosas there, yummy!

“A Must visit venue”
Reviewed 28 November 2011

Beautiful quaint little venue hidden away just outside of Kaunas. Bright and natural decor, something like an old English tea room/cafe kind of feeling. With pretty Indian style art and utensils splashed around.

There were 2 separate seating areas, one with standard tables and chairs and another in the back with small tables and cushions for sitting on the floor. A little cloak room for coats and shoes also (this is however optional)

Staff were very friendly and full of smiles, more than happy and patient to help our large non Lithuanian speaking party.

Food was divine, real traditional Indian foods (none of this greasy rubbish you get at takaways) cooked with real ghee, light and healthy. Pleanty of option, and the portions are a fantastic size for the cheap price, was stuffed for hours! They are also happy to cater for any vegans present.

Real homecooked foods made with love. Wil definately return.
