Went to Whisky Bar recently with my parents on a visit to see my fiancee's family in Kaunas. This is beltin' little bar and wish there was one in London. It's set in a cosy, 17th century brick arched basement. Well lit with candles and spotlights. Mostly locals which is always a good sign - very friendly bunch - one group of lads invited us over to have a dram from a bottle they were sharing on the table. Barman spoke good English. The whisky menu is massive and there's dozens of single malts - sorted out into different regions. There's also Japanese, Irish, Welsh, Canadian, American etc so plenty to keep us busy! It's also great value compared to UK prices - so we could go on a bit of a tasting session. Only thing is. Mind your head. The ceiling is very low in some parts and I cracked my head a couple of times on the way to the bathroom.
