The hotel is an average 3-star hotel, but for what it is maybe a little bit overpriced. The rooms are quite basic, but nice and clean, but as we stayed in winter, the heater made noises at night and if you are a light sleeper, that might be an issue. Also there were no extra pillows and the ones that were in the bed were quite small and worn out. The bathroom was tiny, which was annoying. You could not even wash your face decently as the sink was the size of a sink you find in an airplane lavatory. And there is no shampoo in the bathroom (which I think every respectful hotel should have), only dispenser body-wash. So for the amount they charge per night, I think they could have some things nicer. Breakfast was great, however. It had everything you could wish for in the morning.

It was excellent and different hotel in the heart of the harbour near everything.
I liked the whole wall window in the room and the scene.
Service was excellent and also breakfast was good.
Nearby is different restaurants to have a nice dinner.

What is amazingly nice in this hotel located in the harbour, that the windows on both sides of the building look on the water, offering beautiful view. The hotel is inexpensive, but there can be no complaints about the service, so it is an excellent value for the price.

Location is good, not far from the town centre which can be reached via a hand-operated turningbridge.
The Old Mill is a design hotel, furnished in a modern style and with a clean atmosphere.
Quite difficult to reach by car, because it's necessary drive around near the shipyard, but in front of the hotel there's is a free parking.
To the south you have a view of the shipyard from the Soviet era still is in operation, and to the north a view of the old harbour.
The ferry for pedestrians and cyclists to the Curonian land is at walking distance. Make sure you get a room at the harbour side of the building, with a windows from the floor-to-ceiling: the panorama is very peaceful.
Rooms are spacious, with a very good bed and bedlinen, with flat-screen TV, fridge and air-conditioning. The reasonably spacious bathroom had a shower, toilet and a surprisingly small wash-basin. Room and bathroom were impeccably clean. No coffee & tea making facility in the room. Windows can be opened.
Free Wi-Fi internet.
The simple buffet style breakfast was OK: cereals, fruit, yogurt, bread and toast, cold-cuts, eggs, cheese, coffee, tea and juice.

Room Tip: Make sure you get a room at the harbour side of the building, with a windows from the floor-to-ceiling: the panorama is very peaceful.
