The good bits:-
* Convenient location (5 minutes walk from Gates of Dawn / Old Town / train & bus station)
* Good size room & well heated

The not-so-good bits:-
* Location - located right next to a 4 way traffic intersection AND train tracks. Dont expect a good nights sleep.
* Paper thin walls - conversations in adjoining rooms / hallway can be heard.
* Cash only - inconvenient and no foreign currency (EURO) change available.
* Linen - multiple stains on both sides of duvet cover.
* Bathroom - one bin provided for toilet tissue, no shower curtain and hand held shower head.
* Servicing of rooms - the only thing that was done during our stay was to have the toilet tissue bin emptied. Nothing else was done in the room.
* Unlimited coffee option proved difficult - if you wanted a coffee after 10:30am you had to request this via 'reception'.
* Uninformative staff & extremely odd 'greeting' upon arrival.

As budget accommodation goes, Florens Boutique is quite nice. Each room is named after a different flower (with wallpapers to match - albeit in a faded, not brightly coloured, understated kind of way). The rooms are warm, the bathrooms quite new and clean. In the mornings, guests can help themselves to an espresso from a machine - which seemed to be the extent of provisions in place. The receptionist, a pretty woman, seemed not entirely experienced at having guests - she could not tell us where the nearest shop, internet cafe or restaurant was (generally, her advice was to go out and see if we ran into something), the rooms had to be paid in cash but she had no change, etc.

So: nice, warm rooms. Service could be improved.

Stayed here for a weekend. Not too far from the historic center or railway station. Interiors were nicely done. However the bed/blankets/pillows were so dusty that we were both suffering big time. Do NOT use the furry blanket they provide. Take allergic medicine with you. We are not normally allergic to anything so it was awful.
Could not sleep in the second night! The Russians staying there were so loud past midnight and the walls are paper so it was a nightmere.
Would not stay here again until they get rid of the dust and shouting Russians. Something that actually can be fixed...but if you want to sleep choose another hotel.

If you like small and cozy hotels - Florens Boutique is absolutely your place!
I was staying in a room of Poppies - bright, spacious, warm and elegant room, with nicely decorated bathroom (with jacuzzi bath inside!). In every meaning it was nice and comfortable stay. Staff of Florens Boutique were brilliant - friendly, welcoming and ready to offer any assistance needed!
Location is also very good - less that 100m till Gates of Dawn (entrance to the very very heart of medieval Vilnius). So absolutely Everything was very easy reachable by walk - cafes, restaurants, sights and central Train/Bus stations!
Hi speed wireless internet is free of charge (in the room, in public areas).
Would I recommend it to my friends? YES, absolutely!

This little hotel was a great pick, very close to Old Town, in a quiet area, with very kind staff, warm and cozy room. I was more comfortable that in a big hotel. Great choice!

It was an amazing stay in most of aspects!
If shortly - Florens Boutique is a small cozy boutique hotel situated right on the entrance to the Gates of Dawn. It means: all places of interest will be easy reachable by walk (1- 10 min, depending on what exactly you are going to visit).
At a first glance from the outside Florens Boutique doesn't give an impression of a Luxurious hotel. Only getting inside you understand its' charm! Old and solid building with super high ceilings, nice entrance stairs (stairs are actually like taken from the Titanic movie - wide and aristocratic:). Everything inside is newly refurbished and nicely decorated. What is the most interesting: Every room has its' own name (Room of Tulips, Room of Roses, Room of Orchids etc) and every room is individually designed. We were staying in the room of Roses. So, the composition of flowers, wall tapestry and dozens of other decorations were made exactly on this thematics! Even our bathroom (very spacious and with massage bathtub inside!) was decorated by motives of Roses! Hangers for towels were handmade small roses. So, the style of the hotel is very interesting and unique, you can feel it in every step. It was a very nice surprice! Talking about basic things, everything was good as well: quite big plasma TV, very comfortabe bed (huge size, really bigger than in standard hotels!), free wireless internet in the room, high quality towels. Morning coffee was served directly in the room (!) and in porcelain cups(!!!). Not easy to remember every the detail, common impression was very good.
Staff (owners?) were very attentive and flexible - ready to do everything to make you feel good and comfortable.
So, based on positive experience of me and my wife (we travel a lot!), I can advice without any doubts: If you are looking for 3-4* hotel in Vilnius, Florens Boutique can be your first choice.

I have to agree with the other reviewers. I fell completely for the Expedia blurb and it was obvious as soon as realised I had to ring a bell to get in – never a good sign for anything over two stars. How Expedia have rated this as three stars really is beyond me.

The receptionist, who sits at a desk in the lobby, said she would show me to my room and walked literally a few paces to her left to a door which I had assumed, from its position, must have been some sort of cupboard, then opened it. It was a fair room, though never three-star, but its off-the-lobby location put me right off. I asked for another and took a room, which though not directly giving on to the lobby, was still a door’s width away from the receptionist. I felt she could have heard me dreaming.

The furnishings were a rag-tag collection reclaimed from somewhere else, the bedspread wasn’t big enough for the bed. The room wasn’t big enough for the bed and the desk. I could tell that the sheets were not supposed to be off-white.
Breakfast was wheeled in on a trolley in the morning (where else would they feed you?) and I wondered whether the serving of a breakfast makes a difference in the star ratings. To cap it all they take cash – only (again, not a good sign).

Had there been no torrential rain when I arrived for my two-night stay I too might have high-tailed it out of there. It’s an authentic, fairly impressive building which could have been better converted and the receptionist (who changed each day) was always as helpful as she could be. It would be a fine hostel (though not at this price); as a three-star hotel it is a scandalous rip-off.
