“An Easy Way To See The City”
Reviewed 13 October 2013

We got on the bus at Cathedral Square and the tour lasted for one hour and twenty minutes, there was a ten minute stop in the town hall square and also a stop at St Peter and St Paul's church. It is an audio tour which had good sound quality and it takes you to all of the main points of interest.

“striking restoration”
Reviewed 18 August 2013

We caught a local bus from Vilnius bus station next to the train station. It is very cheap and takes about an hour each way. The town of Trakai is small but interesting. There is still a small community of Karaite Jews from Crimea . We tried their cuisine in a local restaurant. It is easy to find Trakai castle which is set within a lake. It has been heavily restored but is in a very photogenic setting. I bought a savoury meat pasty from a small stall outside-very appetising. There are museums, archery displays are art exhibitions inside. Overall very interesting-it is like being transported back to the 13th century.

“Tourt to Trakai from Vilnius”
Reviewed 8 August 2013

My family & I booked a private tour to Trakai and also added on a stop at the Antakalnio cemetary to see the monument to the victims of the January 1991 event and then at stop at St. Faustina's convent. We had a very knowledgeable and friendly guide, Justina, and a very professional driver. We learned a lot about Lithuania history and also enjoyed great amber jewelry shopping in Trakai! Justina's English was excellent and you could tell that she loved her job! It was a wonderful experience.

“Good introduction to the city”
Reviewed 7 August 2013 via mobile

This tour takes you around the city and gives you brief information about the different landmarks. It is not a hop on, hop off but I think itgives you an excellent introduction to the town so then you can walk around to see them closer yourself. (The city is easy to get around and everything is very close.

I always have my own headphones in my bag and I find that you always get better sound quality and a better volume with these as tour companies often buy cheap ones as they go through so many!

“Great way to see the city!”
Reviewed 29 July 2013

We took the 1.5 hour Vilnius City tour. It is just a tour (not hop-on, hop-off as in some cities) but it hits all the high notes and you can go back later to further explore, if needed. The bus is comfortable and you can choose which language to listen in. We paid 40 litas each, which seemed reasonable. It makes one, ten minute stop at St. Peter and Paul Cathedral, which is a bit away from the city center so nice to be able to get out and see.
