“Value for money and good breakfast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 October 2013

This hotel is not in the center, however it´s convenient for transportation and has many restaurants around. The staff is very friendly. Rooms are cleans and spacious, with a comfortable temperature. Breakfast is delicious. The only problem has to do with the noise during the night, since clients are often highschool kids or similar and tend to believe the hotel is their playground.

Room Tip: Back rooms are definitely better

This hotel is good, better then the 2 stars it has been allocated. The rooms are quite large with a very high ceiling. Big windows that let in a lot of light. I lived here 3 nights in october. The only downside was the bad noise insulation between the rooms and rooms to corridor.

+ : Very good service. They answered all my questions of all sorts. And frequently called the place I wanted to visit to get updated information. All the receptionists seemed to be able to help. The clientell was young. Average age about 20 years. Because of all the students living there. Rooms were light, fashionable and with huge amounts of space for clothes and luggage. This double room had a fridge, that could be turned off easily. In case you find it too noisy. I payed a low price booking through trivago.com. I was surprised of the quality of everything for this low price. The location is good for a few of Vilnius' clubs and a few of the best restaurants in town. The snacks and drinks machine was handy in many cases. And the Old town is just 15 min walk away. Maxima hypermarket, with its extra shops is just a 3 min walk. The room was cleaned every day and always hot water in the shower. Dispenser soap and shampoo.
Good beds.

- Not many things on the downside. There was a lot of noise from some of the other rooms, and the corridor. Also dim and depressing lighting in the corridors and large stair foaje. There could be a few more hot dishes for breakfast.

For the price I paid (half of the hotels rack rate) this was a Very good hotel. The service in the reception and the light feeling of the room being the best. I also got a double room for single use, although the hotel does have a few single bed rooms.

I spent three weeks in the Corner Hotel with a group of people. We all liked the place a lot. The rooms were nice and simple, we weren't looking for much. The hotel has free-to-use kitchens that are also a nice place to hang out as a group. The breakfast has lots of options like ham and cheese pancakes, müesli, yoghurt, bread, fresh vegetables, coffee, tea, juices etc.

Some of our group wanted to rent a car for a trip and the front desk was happy to handle the whole thing for them. In other things also the service was very good and friendly. There was always someone with a smile when you came in and even though we didn't really have any problems we're sure they would've been handled well.

The hotel guests are mostly longer term residents, so there wasn't that many families with children around. The hotel was at the time partially under renovations but there was no noise from the construction to cause us any problems. The area is quiet since it's not a busy residential area and there aren't any clubs or pubs around.

The city center/old town is just a little walk away, so the hotel is in a good location. Also the buses go straight there from the airport and you can get to further away also with buses easily.

I can heartily recommend the hotel and their services!

Room Tip: If you get a room with a window to the inner yard, it may be a bit quieter. Half the rooms have wind...

This hotel is simple, clean and for reasonable price. It is not in the very center of the city but if you don't mind a 10-minute walk, it is a walking distance from the Old Town. It is popular among youths as it has also hostel-like rooms for many people.
Free WiFi and a nice breakfast is a plus. They also have some parking spots for their guests, but parking may be a problem in the peak season when they have many guests.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms heading to the back yard. The main road next to the hotel is a little noisy.

My rating is based mainly on the price I paid - for the dates of my trip the Corner Hotel substantially undercut all other options for hotel (ie non dormitory/hostel-type) accommodation within range of Vilnius centre - so much so that, even after skimming other positive reviews here, I primed myself for a considerable grin-and-bear-it quantum. However I didn't need to 'bear' anything really, and overall it positively exceeded my most optimistic expectations...
CH is a clean, safe-feeling, friendly establishment. I had single occupancy of a largeish double room on the fourth floor, all the basics ticked & (again on the basis of the price paid!) generally exceeded.
As others have commented breakfast is commendably generous and offers a variety of fair. As others have also observed, on more of a downside tendency, the soundproofing is undeniably not of the greatest. However, my feeling is that some reviewers have laid more emphasis on this than is warranted. Its no worse in my opinion than many other (pricier) places I've stayed in in the UK & overseas. It might conceivably be more of an issue for those travelling with young children, but for most visitors I shouldn't have thought its anything that adroit use of a headset couldn't mitigate - for those with a particularly heightened sense of irony L. Cohen's Paper Thin Hotel from the Death of a Ladies Man album might be just the track to carry the day (night)!
But to return to the main matter in hand, I've no hesitation in recommending the CH to others (especially those on a tight budget) & I would stay there again like a shot. What else to say? Its of course a little farther from the centre of things than some of its rivals, but Vilnius is a relatively compact city & most should have few problems with the 10-15 minute trundle down a slight hill (so uphill coming back) to the Town Hall, Old Town, Cathedral etc etc. The city itself I found intriguing and appealing on many levels - a first visit that aroused a hunger for more. I wish with hindsight I'd learned a few more phrases in Lithuanian before my trip - not that you'll need them, but I think it would have improved my interaction with locals, especially as a solo traveller. I also took a bus to Kaunus for the day and would recommend this as an option if you have time. Cheap (18lt each way) frequent service from the longdistance bus station which is also about 15mins walk from the hotel. Made for an interesting contrast to Vilnius, and there was a particularly interesting exhibition at the former Presidential Palace there that afforded a fascinating insight into modern Lithuania's first, precarious and short-lived period of independence between the two World Wars...

Very helpfull and kind stuff. The hotel has very good location. It takes 10min from the airport and bus/railway station by city bus and 15min from old historical town by walk. Ask the stuff about the shortest way.
Breakfast was awesome!! Its delicious and various.
A good 24h market is nearby.
Wifi signal was very wick and disappeared all the time.
The room was clean exept of some places in the shower.
Hairdryer, iron and other stuff you can buy at reception desk. Machine with snacks, chocolate and beer are avaliable.
There was no beautiful view from the window but I dont mind about that.
It was the peaceful place to take the relax after long day walking.
