Stayed at Hotel Rinno 12th - 15th March. Hotel is in a good (though not picturesque) location. The hotel it's self is very nice, and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would definately recommend this hotel for an affordable, friendly stay in Vilnius. Our room though a standard was very spacious, and had a big bathroom. The room smelt and looked as though the carpets were very new too.The breakfast is also very good, with a buffet style table, but with hot food such as omelettes, pancakes, scrambled eggs etc cooked to order, by a really helpful lady. The receptionists were also really good,, and stored our cases on the last day as we had a late flight, as well as phoning a taxi (of our choice) for us. Managed to book a taxi via email from England, and despite the horror stories abouth Vilnius taxis, the firm we used were very good, only 13.80 litas from the airport, and only 12.80 on the return trip. (used Ekipazas) Would stay here again if visiting Vilnius.

The location of the hotel is great: walking distance from bus/train station, and close to the old town. Busses go from the street next to the hotel, and there is a big supermarket(Maxima) just around the corner.

We had a room at the 3rd floor, and since it is kinda the attic, the room had a window at the roof, which could be opened and the view was great! The only downside was the bending roof, which made the room smaller and if you are tall you really have to mind your head at that part of the room!

The room had a weird smell, apparently they had just changed the carpets, so it smelled like in a carpet shop! But that is of course only temporary, and the new carpet was nice and clean.

The breakfast was super! You can order omelettes/pancakes, and they have many kinds of local foods in the breakfast buffet. great ecological yoghurt!

Room Tip: the ones at the 3rd floor have the best view.

The hotel is located within walking distance to the train station, the international bus station and the historical center. The area itself is not very nice, but it felt safe. Beneath the hotel there’s a bar, so if your room is right above it, you might have difficulty getting some sleep. The staff was helpful, especially with the problem we had with an unsealed window in our room, which made it freezing, with temperatures falling way below -20ºC! They changed our room and put us is the ‘conference room,’ which as perfectly heated and very spacious. It even had a desk with a desktop computer all for ourselves. I still can’t grasp the concept of a queen size bed and a large table with 8 chairs all in one room!
They make an effort to make the guest rooms ‘roomy,’ but they should really dole out a huge amount of litas to upgrade the looks of the place. Some areas look really dated, although not deteriorated.
Strength: They did what was within their possibilities to solve the window/heating problem we experienced in our room. We ended up with a much larger and comfortable room.
Weakness: In a place like Vilnius where winters can be so harsh, it is a must to provide a heated environment. We only experienced one unheated room, but the first morning we had to have breakfast in a sub-zero-degree environment. The breakfast room was modern, but apparently the large windows overlooking the cute patio were not hermetic enough. We ended up eating with an electrical heater at our feet. The next morning there was sticky tape stuck all around the windows. I hope they had a specialist fix that problem after I left, because otherwise it describes a very unprofessional way of solving problems. Speaking of the breakfast room, there’s a waitress with short hair that is a bit too intimidating. She’s constantly intruding, picking up stuff off your table or even to correct something you misplaced. Very high maintenance! And you have to deal with her because there’s only one hot dish allowed, and you have to order it to her. That’s a situation that can be easily phased out if management had the intention to do so.
I would not go back. I’m sure there are other cold-free places around Vilnius.

The location of this hotel couldn't be better, less than 5 minutes from the major attractions & a 10 minute walk from hotel panorama if that's where you are being dropped off & collected. Our room was small & cozy and very clean but did have a slightly musty smell to it. Like other reviews we could hear a lot of the jazz music from next door, to remedy this join them, it's a great little bar! By far the best bit of the hotel is breakfast, thank you to the lady who made my pancakes & eggs every day, they were amazing!

Overall an amazing city & when I return I will stay here again.

we stayed at this hotel for 2 nights (feb.21 -23) and it was a nice experience with their staff who spoke very good english. the staff were nice and very friendly. the room was enough for us 3 (my husband, i and a 2 yr old little girl ). the room is kept clean everyday. the breakfast was very good. the lady in charge with the breakfast was very accommodating, asking us frequently if we need coffee or other things. the receptionist was very friendly esp. when i asked directions how to get to the shopping centers. only downside was it doensn't have a lift..i recommend this to other travellers who wanted to spend less for the hotel yet convenient and nice amenities..

Room Tip: choose room at the ground level if you have kids as they don't have lift...

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. From the minute you walk in the door you can see that this is a quality hotel. Met by very efficient staff and surprisingly had out suitcases carried to our room (normally don't get that service in a 3 star hotel). Very spacoius room, well furnished with a brand new bathroom and comfortable bed. Good fast internet access. 5 minute walk to the old town and major landmarks. One big plus for us was that we could control the heating in the room, a plus since we generally find European hotel rooms overheated. Buffet breakfast has lots of variety and includes freshly cooked pancakes or omlettes.
