A very well maintained and restored little old town, though really not comparable with the most famous and popular center of Florence or Urbino to say a few, it's worth a walk to enjoy the friendliness and "Eropeanness" of young Lithuanian people.

Vilnius Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage site. While there are not many really spectacular individual buildings, it is one of the largest surviving medieval old towns around, it is safe and it is a nice place to walk through. I liked it.

Vilnius is a city of 50 churches. After soviet period, most of them is in bad condition but they are impressive. Go to Gedimin Tower and have a look on Vilnius church towers and roofs of renovated houses.

I did like old town so much, very clean, suggestive and with a good choice of coffee bars, restaurants and even a couple of cozy lounge bars.
