So much history! Loved this town, so much to see. We were only there for 2 days and I would have liked a few more.

Very pleasant walking around in the old town. Full of interesting things to see and shops to visit. A bit too many amber shops though! I found some lovely craft shops with linen, pottery, chocolate, jewellery, etc which were just a bit different though and managed to get some lovely gifts for others and myself! Vilnius is a great place to shop!

Lots of interesting places to discover. Cosy atmosphere. Lots of restaurants and cafes. Unfortunately some of the "best" restaurants doesn't live up to their reputation.

It's quite spread out, not much of a "tourist trap", many large, open spaces with historic buildings ranging from the first settlements of the city to more recent buildings.

One of the largest and most restored examples of gothic architecture and not just the churches, but arched medieval pubs and restaurants too with smatterings of renaissance and baroque as well.
