We were traveling in a group of 9 and looking for a convenient inexpensive place to stay for 5 nights. Downtown Forest Hostel provided just that. We were warmly received at the reception. The host was helpful and pleasant. The outdoor courtyard was lovely and all in all we had a very positive experience. The only negative was that our shower didn't drain properly and water ran out onto the floor and spread into the bedroom. But apparently not one of us reported this, so how would they know in order to remedy the situation.

The location where this hostel is placed is very good. You need only a 10 minutes walk to the old town of Vilnius. We were there only 2 nights: big room with much space, cleaned, shower and toilet in common. The heating system was not working at all though, and there were 7 degrees at night so it was pretty cold in the night with very thin bed covers. They have a very nice reception and lounge area, with a fire place steadly lit and the possibility to get cheap beers and drinks. Very good working wi-fi. Friendly receptionists who are interested in your trips, giving you important tips for your stay. It's particularly suggested for camping trips even tho we weren't.

Nice Hostel, close to the old town, good facilities. Price is ok but they ask 6 euros for laundry + dryer and 3 euros to use the grill(???) !! Staff really unfriendly, every time you need to ask something you feel like you're bothering them!!
