Wery nice athmosphere . The restaurant had only a few tables, and also a fireplace. Music was not to loud . We got excellent service (see that others are not satisfied with this but we absolutely had a good experience). Food : my husband ate meat with cheezesause. A bit surprised that it was served without anyting else (no potatoes, rice, pasta..) but it tasted heavenly. I had spaghetti carbonara. No gourmetdinner but easy and absolutely tasty. Would definitely go back there if I ever come to Tallin again.

When we got there, we were initially grateful for being placed next to the roaring fireplace to escape the cold, Baltic November air, but after about 5 minutes we had to move as we were overheating and moved by the window. The décor is classic and reminds you of some romanticised cafe from 1940s France and as for the food, it was tasty and of a very good quality. The beef carpaccio was delicious and the moules in white wine stock have left me craving them ever since. We were a bit dubious about the fact that the very friendly waitress didn't ask how we wanted our steak cooked however our concerns were put to rest as when it arrived, it was as if she had read our minds, it was cooked exactly to our likings. We finished it all with a cheeseboard of extremely high quality and left satisfied and well stuffed. Again, I would also like to thank the waitress for her attentive service and extremely pleasant manner.

The pastas we had were great, the service was excellent and we even got free cherry liquor, because, the waitress said, 'it is so cold outside'.

Arrived at 8.30 pm asked for a beer and a glass of wine and was informed that this was an Italian restaurant and Italians drank only wine! Other patrons were drinking large beers at adjacent tables. Eventually I was provided with a much over priced small bottle of Italian beer and not the local beer requested of the patronising waiter.
Ordered starters and main course, unfortunately the waiter did not write down the order. The starter arrived swiftly along with burnt bread rolls.

Forty five minutes later i ventured to ask about our salmon main course. 'Salmon' queried the waiter I must not of heard this, it has been hot today!
We agreed to wait the eight minutes required to prepare the salmon. Fifteen minutes later the salmon arrived with nothing more than a cold sauce and more burnt rolls. Not only was the sauce cold but the salmon uncooked at the centre.

The bill was called for and amazingly brought and equally amazingly paid for! Twenty Euro for the worst meal in Tallinn this visitor experienced.
At least I had the satisfaction of saying this to the arrogant waiter who had no reply relating to our dreadful experience.
