Saigon offered good food, but not exactly the authentic Vietnamese cuisine the restaurant name had me hoping for. Their menu is absolutely huge, more like a book, and I wish it had actually offered less choice because my friends and I sat for ages trying to work out what to choose. Everything that we did choose was very tasty and the portions are very large. The service was just ok and when we asked the waitress for a recommendation (after feeling overwhelmed at the size of the menu) she just shrugged and said everything was good which wasn't really helpful. In her defence though, she was right, everything was good! The prices are reasonable and they are really trying with the decor, even if it is a bit kitschy. It's just a bit outside the Old Town, but not much of a walk at all really.
