After some renovation this place has become really cozy, while being right in the heart of the Old Town in Tallinn. The staff are really friendly and make you pancakes for breakfast (yum yum). In my opinion this is real good value for money.

This place has location going for it being just off the beaten path of Old Town. The rooms are big and only 6 beds but they are on the floor. The kitchen is not what you would want to cook in and there is no soap to wash anything. FREE BREAKFAST is a loaf of bread. The shower is sideways in the bath tub so it is difficult to turn around with out a fear of falling. With some attention this could be a great place but it has been nick named the ghost hostel for a reason. There is not anyone here running the place except. It is cheap but im not sure if its cheap enough for what you get. Very very dirty

Room Tip: There is not a choice of good rooms but try and get a good bed of the broken down ones

Lets start with the good about this hostel. The girl who welcomed us was so nice and helpful, giving us a tour of the place and trying her best to give us tips on where to go when we asked. She was great. However, the rest of the hostel left a lot to be desired. The bathroom we used had mold on the walls and the floors were disgusting, even for hostel standards. The second bathroom downstairs had the strangest excuse for a shower, some wood boards nailed to a wall and a spout for a shower head. Our room was basic and fine, but it got very hot at night and began to smell strange. The "free breakfast" was some bread and jam and milk in a weird and tiny kitchen off the even weirder, and moldy, common room. Let's just say, I would never stay here again.

I agree with most of the posts for this hostel. The bathrooms really need to be remodeled or atleast cleaned, they looked like they haven't been cleaned in ages!! which is pretty gross, also most of the rooms are moldy and have this humitdy smell that is not very pleasant. although it has a good location. You can walk pretty much everywhere in Old Town.

The staff was very friendly and gave great tips on visiting the city. The rooms were fine and the breakfast was fine. The bathrooms were horrific. Unexceptable. I found the price totally too hih for such poor accomidations. The kitchen was so ill equiped and dirty it was impossible to take advantage of it.

My girlfriend and I stayed there for 1 night in the 6 bed dorm.
Right in the center (just next to kiek de kok tower) , the staff was very friendly and helpful but the beds and sheets were a bit dirty and old. There were 3 bathrooms but the one that we managed to use was old and not in good condition.
It was quiet since it has only 7 rooms so not that much people or noise.
It has free laundry , free small breakfast, free coffee, tea, milk and wifi.
The building as it says also, is very old and a bit smelly but in general the experience was not bad compared to the price ( 9e per night ) it provides enough.
Cheap , central hostel, good for backpackers to use wifi and laundry.
We recomend it if what you want is low budget and in the old town.

Room Tip: cheap accomodation tallin
