This place is interesting not only for children but for adults as well. There is amazing equipment, people can watch different videos, check absolute hearing, play some games, do some test to know about yourself or people or world. If you go there you will have a great time!

As many of the sights and museums closed at 5 pm, my husband and I had several hours to spare before leaving for our ferry to Helsinki. Ahhaa was one of the only places except for the shopping malls that was open in the evening and it was located near the city center, so we went there to spend a few hours. It's an interesting place and we had fun doing the activities. A good place for children and parents too, but won't keep you occupied more than a few hours.

We visited AHHAA center together with kids. 4D movie was super cool. Kids liked that they could try different things by themselves. There was also exhibition about the forests. Exhibition related texts were in Estonian. It would be good to have them in English or Finnish, so tourists can get the idea what exhibition is about:). Personnel was friendly and helpful.

AHHAAA center in Tallinn was one of the main attractions for our family when planning visit to Tallinn. And it was worth it! There's so many interesting activities/topics to explore, participate and interact with: initiate tornado with a press of the button, test your skills, uniquesness and even biases. Be curious and you'll be pleased, otherwise don't expect to be entertained. Now we definitely want to visit Tartu to see the expanded version of AHHAA.
