It isn't far from center, you can just take a 1hour walk to this park and also visit the sea on the way. The park has very beautiful palace and the garden. There is very beautiful tunnel - specially in autumn. The park has flowers and some fountains and statues. It perfect for walking. There is beautiful palace, museum and basin where you can take some boats.

You can take the tram from the Balti Jaam or Viru Keskus and be dropped off outside. I had a lovely walk through the park and took some photos of the Presidential Palace. If you want to know more about the history and culture of Estonia there are a few cultural museums as well.

The park is lovely with locals using it for walking/jogging. The Palace is interesting if you are interested in art but I enjoyed the gardens to the rear. I suggest checking times of opening if you want to visit. Overall nice break from the city for an afternoon if good weather.

You may take Tram Nr. 3 from Viru Station (but also Tram Nr. 1 works nearby) until final station; the rate is 1,60 EUR to pay with the driver. The Park and castle are very nice, you may take an hour or two to walk around in the park and the nice gardens close to the palace. Mind the opening hours for the palace until 5 p.m. only. The park is open always.

We went to Kadriorg park for walks and running from where we continued towards shoreline to the Marina. Lovely route for a nice walk combining woods and the beach.
